Time Off Blonde Redhead are singer/guitarist Kazu Makino and twin brothers Amedeo and Simone Pace (singer/guitarist and drummer/programmer, respectively). The band is named after a song by DNA, the early-80's No Wave band from NYC, and has been one of the underground's most beloved groups over the past fifteen years.
With special guests: The Verlaines fronted by singer, guitarist and prolific collaborator, Graeme Downes, The Verlaines formed in 1981 in Dunedin, New Zealand and have been at the vanguard of New Zealand independent music. Blonde Redhead appear at Sydney Opera House for one show only on 29 January 2011 with special guests The Verlaines, before playing at the sold-out Laneway Festival Sydney.
