Not sure I understand your point.
It's a very expensive process to drill for oil, extract it and then refine & transport it. All that costs you approx $1.50 a litre.
Bonsoy is made in a factory and they charge double per litre.

I think I understand your point of economics.
Bonsoy is a specialised non gm upmarket Soy milk as opposed to the cost of say, motor racing fuel per litre.
A2, not sure its a total rip off. Aren't the A2 cows selected through dna testing etc.
Jersey milk may be close to A2.
But isn't the problem, what all the cows are being fed.

Plenty of places with Bonsoy for between $4.20-5.00, doesn't seem a great deal to me.
A quick search makes me think $3.79 is the cheapest it's been on ozb. I'm sorry that's not good enough for you.

What is so good about Bonsoy?
It the best tasting soy milk (others are great, but bonsoy is the best). It foams extremely well with a frother and mixes great with coffee.
I can confirm that it's the same price at the Marrickville Metro store

That's double the price of petrol per litre. Can't imagine it costs more than petroleum to extract and transport. Must be massive profit margins
