Promoted Listings is a unique cost per sale advertising tool that can be used to increase visibility of eBay listings. We recommend sellers read the Promoted Listings page and associated terms.
What exclusions apply?
The discount only applies to fees expressly set out in these terms and conditions and does not apply to insertion fees, feature fees, and any additional fees as set out at eBay.com.au.
The Final Value Fee Credit does not apply to “Excluded Categories” which include Businesses for Sale (11759), Aircrafts (63676), Boats (26429), Caravans/Motorhomes (32633), Cars (29690), Motorcycles (32073), Trucks/Commercial Vehicles (6049), Real Estate (10542), Services (316), Flights (3253), Tickets (1306), Travel (3252) and Vouchers/Gift Certificates (109191).
The Promoted Listings Credit only applies to fees charged on Promoted Listings ad campaigns that commenced after 5 March 2018. For example, any live Promoted Listing ad campaigns launched prior to 5 March 2018 will not be eligible for the $5000 ad fee credit.
Listings that contravene eBay’s policies or fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions are excluded.
Sellers whose accounts do not meet eBay’s minimum performances standards are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
Sellers who do not meet the eGD eligibility requirements <link to Seller Centre> are not eligible for this promotion.
For sellers who are eligible to receive Final Value Fee discounts and/or Promoted Listings Ad credits through any other promotion being offered by eBay during the Promotion Period, will receive the greater valued discounts only. For example, if a seller is eligible to receive up to $5000 Promotional Ad credit in accordance with these T&Cs and is also eligible to receive a 30% discount on Promotional Ad credits due to another eBay promotion outside of these terms and conditions, the higher value credit will be applied.
With that time frame, even if you post same day you're looking at only making it for areas in the same city or you're posting express.
..which could be worth it. If its a high value listing, and a small item, paying the extra few bucks to upgrade it would make sense.
