[NSW] FREE Dry Eye Assessment and Blephasteam Session @ Eyecare Plus Kareela (Valued at $78) (Eyetest via Medicare)

00

Do your eyes feel dry, tired, sore, gritty or irritated?

If so, you may have dry eyes.

Dry eyes affect nearly 1 in 10 Australians and this number increases as you age. There are many reasons why we get dry eyes, from too much computer use, air conditioning, medication use or just unfortunately old age.

If you've ever thought your eyes have been a bit uncomfortable or irritated, sore or any other feeling other than normal come and see us.

We will perform a FULL comprehensive dry eye assessment, rather than just telling you your eyes are "dry", including explaining why you are experiencing what you are experiencing, as well as go through a detailed treatment plan for the dry eyes.

As a bonus we are also doing a free Blephasteam treatment session which is valued at $78 which will almost 100% make your eyes feel MUCH better.

Don't be caught out with uncomfortable eyes, constant blinking and blurred vision today.

      • +1 fo damn sho

  • If i have a degenerative eye condition, which has been treated by intacs and ceratin crosslinking with riboflavin, is there any risk in what you're offering?

I already know thanks to the constant surgeries my eyes are dry.

Its important my epithelium layer isnt compromised.

    • Hi
It sounds like you've got keratoconus. In that case, no, this does not affect the epithelium in any way or form and does not affect the keratoconus.

This just focuses on helping to replenish and keep the tear film stable.

Give us a call and we can discuss further on 9528 2041

      Regards
      Eyecare Plus Kareela

Is this Medicare allowance over and above the allowable optometrist assessment every 2 years?

    • Medicare allows bulk billing claims to be done if there is an issue regardless of the standard "comprehensive" examination which is now every 3 years for patients under the age of 65, and every year for those over 65 (This was changed in the last Budget a few years ago)
