[QLD] Village Roadshow Parks - Free Entry in May/June for Specific Community Service Professions

90

This is a TARGETED deal, open to people deemed to be "community workers" such as Australian Emergency Services, Doctors, Nurses and Carers, Defence Force Personnel, Teachers and Educational Staff. If in doubt, contact the theme park and ask, as they often cover a wider range of professions than the ones mentioned. For example, one of my colleagues was able to determine that Registered Psychologists and Social Workers are also eligible, even though they're not listed.

To celebrate our Community Heroes, Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast and Paradise Country are offering FREE admission during May & June (excludes Festival On The Farm on 13th May) to members of the Australian Emergency Services, Doctors, Nurses and Carers, Defence Force Personnel, Teachers and Educational Staff. Plus, up to four friends and family will receive entry to Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast for $29 and Paradise Country for $15.

You can also experience the most breathtaking live dinner and show at Australian Outback Spectacular with Return of High Country Legends. Community Heroes can enjoy the show for only $49 while friends and family get discounted tickets for $69 by calling our friendly team on 13 33 86*. Please note this offer is not valid for Saturday night shows.

And like last year you don’t have to come during a specific week. All Community Heroes are welcome to visit any day throughout May to Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast and Paradise Country, and Australian Outback Spectacular on show nights, excluding Saturday.

Evidence of eligibility (such as ID and payslips) required- see URL for details.

It's worth noting that Warner Brothers Movie World and Sea World don't appear to be included this year…

open to people deemed to be "community workers"

    Would also apply to Ozbargainers.

    • This sounds a bit like the debate we've been having at work… they also seem to specify that you have to be employed (i.e. paid) to do it, which seems to exclude volunteer SES, firefighters etc… I'd still give it a shot if I was SES.

      • Surprisingly Qld SES volunteers and rural fire volunteers are fine as we are technically employees of the Queensland fire and emergency services (QFES).

Can confirm as well as have a friend who works for SES and village roadshow (wet n wild).

The poor doctors sure do need a handout.

  • I would wonder if vets are deemed "community workers"

they are doctors without the grossly high pay and probably care more for their patients than doctors

  • Only the good die young.

  • Dreamworld should do this as well, that way they'll have emergency service workers immediately on-hand if required…

  • Thanks OP! Love these free annual tickets!
