thought these would have been appearing cheap as refurbished as corporates do their refreshes.
it's always a good idea to check sites like Renewd once in a while. I recently got a refurbished Lenovo Miix 700 with m5/8gb/256gb and LTE for under $400. since then I laugh at deals like this one
EVer turned a laptop upside down and tapped on the bottom to see how much dead skin, crud and other contagions get absorbed into a keyboard over the years.
I think I'll continue laughing as I deploy my underpants policy to my laptops - purchased strictly new only…
so how is it different from my own laptop that is 2 years old? :) anyway everything I buy is disassembled and serviced, so I see no point in paying triple for something I can get "like new" for nickels.
Ever just bought a new keyboard if it bothers you?
Or maybe even clean the old one?
:\
Specs read like it belongs in a museum
Bought the SP4 during last deal still using it on the road. The good thing is long battery life and no fan quiet.
Just a heads up there is no screen replacement for this device it just gets replaced as a whole unit so get warranty unless you live without kids and youre a very careful person.
Edit: better yet get a Dell/HP/Lenovo refurb
Unless you are really foolish and drop it from 10 ft high or on concrete its a very durable device
i dropped it 3 times so far (no not from high up) and its completely fine
I work at a school with roughly 50 Acer p645-mgs, 10 dell 5440s and 12 surface pros. In total we've had 4 broken screens in the last year and all of them were the surface pros. Maybe their chassis isn't as protective of the screen and it just needs one of those uag cases maybe they are just garbage, I think it was designed to look good and premium and durability was a distant second to that aspect.
I'd be happy to get one if the screen was easy or cheap to replace but they aren't.
Is this the old M3 aka Surface Pro 4 … ?
