          @shadowrukia: Similar to other cashback sites, it takes up to 7 days to be tracked. We are working directly with ebay to see how we can speed it up. Unfortunately for now, it seems like we get slightly delayed reports from them over weekends :'(

          @victorheaven: From our tests and reports, we see that it's included even though ebay explicitly say it's not. Our team is doing a round of tests with different permutations and will let you guys know how it goes. Give us a few days to allow for tracking to come in!

    Why doesn't payment by eBay voucher/s work for ShopBack cashback? It does work for Cashrewards cashback (for the full paid amount) irrespective of how it was paid.

    A lot of the OzB users pay using eBay vouchers since they are discounted. This true OzB spirit should be respected by ShopBack.

    Ebay doesn't limit the number of vouchers (even with coupon code) so why not use them and also get cashback.

      This is actually a rule set by ebay themselves and we are just explicitly displaying it here. If you check the terms and conditions on other cashback sites, you will see the same liner too on their page too.

      By the way, can I check if you're referring to gift cards or discount voucher codes?

        So the same 'voucher' (or code or coupon as you may call) field on checkout page accepts any number of eBay gift cards/vouchers (physical/e-version) as well as any one valid discount code along with it/them. I am referring to the former. You already mentioned that the later will work but people often use combination of both.

        Here I mean voucher = gift card code (physical or e-version if it does exist).

        And, discount code = promo code of eBay offer (e.g. 3 codes that you mentioned in the post)

          Yep gotcha. We've made internal orders and they work for both, separately and combined. In other words, 100% of the time it has worked for us so far.

          If this has worked for you on any other cashback sites, it will work on ShopBack as we share the same terms. We're going to make a few more tests now with different combis. Give us a few days and we will revert with our test results once they're tracked :) We just want to be explicit with the terms ebay provided us.

      The tracking of the purchase is actually done by the ePN (eBay Partner Network) and not Cashrewards. So if you're having issues with purchases being tracked with CR then you're going to have issues with other cashback providers.

        Almost all of my purchases are recorded with Cashrewards.com.au

        Once a Myer sale had an issue, they detected it automatically without my intervention asking me for the details.
        I have literally saved 100s. Can't complain.

        Are you sure you not using any firewalls/proxies/ad blockers or unwanted extensions?

        Clicking on other links in same browsing session can cause issues.

        Also using coupon not listed and approved by businesses may make these sales voids.
        Think of this way if you are a businesses owner, how would you feel your marketing team throwing money at one source via multiple avenues.
        It is all going to come from one big bucket and there are costs and limitations

          I know this one from personal experience. I frequently deal with affiliate networks and when people go through my links their purchases end up in the affiliate network portal pending for several weeks. After that period is over I've seen them rejected because they used an "unauthorised coupon" or it was allocated to a different affiliate as they'd been clicking on links elsewhere.

          Comparison websites, price tracking websites, blogs and even deal websites including OzBargain when viewed as a guest are rife with affiliate links. People really need to make sure the cashback provider is the last click as it's easy for one of the others to grab it.

    Do we get a confirmation email or something with the cash back amount after a purchase is made? I just made a purchase on ebay via the app, I can see it in the clock history, but no email or anything to say how much cash back I will be receiving.

      Same thing has happened to me.

      It's in click history, but there is no information regarding the cash back from the purchase made.

      That's something we'd love to do. However the cashback, like any other site, is only recorded when your order is tracked into the ebay system (which takes up to 7 days). From there, we pull out the data which includes how much you've bought, hence how much cashback you would earn. If we receive the report from our partners 5 days later, you will only see it 5 days later in your ShopBack account.

      Working on it to get the reports quicker from our partners! Fingers crossed for us

      You're looking at the non-sale store.

      Make sure you click on the main banner on the ShopBack app home! You should see the store "Ebay Flash Sale" - this will be 5%.

    I can see both 5% and 2%. If I search up ebay Australia it says 2%, but if I go to the home screen I see a banner that says 5% for ebay cashback

      - Download the ShopBack mobile app
      - Click on the main app banner that says Ebay 5%
      - You will be led to a store called "Ebay Flash Sale"
      - Click through and shop as normal! You will get your cashback tracked within 7 days

    Hey guys since there are quite a few questions above.

    Here's what you need to do to qualify for the 5% (which ends in about 1 hour 52 minutes, so hurry!). Please make sure:

    1) You download the ShopBack App
    2) Ensure you manually choose Australia (especially if your Appstore/Playstore is not set to Australia) at the signup/login page. It's right at the bottom
    3) Once in, click on the main app banner that contains the Ebay 5% Never-Before Megasized Cashback message to qualify (don't search for the store)
    4) Shop as per normal, but take note of the standard T&Cs
