Do you recommend the mower? What are its pros and cons?
My in laws have had this model for a couple of years. It is much easier to use than a petrol mower because it is lighter, quieter, cleaner and does not need as much/any servicing. You can mow under the trampoline without moving it just needs a bit of clean up with the trimmer.

Was just typing an edit to reflect that :) As it's a 36V unit it'll need a second battery anyway. Hmmm.
Going by the other info on the Bunnings tag the difference in models may be the battery capacity so the free 5Ah may not even fit this model anyway, it may only be able to take 4Ah batteries.
Yeah bunnings do that with all their makita stuff so they don't have to honour their price match promise. I'm sure makita will honour the promotion.
Damn, sucks staying in a Rural town. Our Bunnings do not even stock these. Great price. Would have loved one like this, cordless mowers rarely go on special.
How many in stock? Not nationwide and not on website but good deal if you can get it.
I just looked on the website and that model is showing as special order. They must have changed it to special order and are getting rid of store stock. That's my theory
Would be interesting to see whether any other stores, or indeed any stores outside QLD have this on clearance too. I might drop by my local Bunnings tonight and see.
I might duck down to my local bunnings in Brisbane to see if i can get the same price. The free battery is nearly worth $180
I just went to my local bunnings where they had one in stock with the same price as online for $499, I got them to price check it but the lady said its not a national clearance and must be only in that particular store.
If anyone has any luck let me know as i would like to get this deal as im in the market for a new mower and have a stack of Makita batteries.
Called a few stores in NSW, no luck. They checked the stock and advised no stock in Sydney metro :(
Just checked with my local Bunnings in Vic, no stock. The guy said it doesn't come with a battery or charger and that would cost around $300 extra. Replaced by a newer model $700
no stock in brisbane south either, they checked a few store around and none of them have any of these in, 20km radius from underwood qld been checked, if anyone found any left in the north side or further south, please also share info

Only redeem on skin code which is about as tight as you can get. That's gonna cost them long term, not that they care.
