Not sure what to compare it to in Australia as we're from England originally. Have purchased coats, fleeces and trousers from them over the years and they've been very good quality. Have a read of the reviews on their site for more info. Apparently Bear Grylls wears Craghopper gear so this should give an indication of the quality.
