Is this unit reliable. I've heard usb-c ports carry up to 20volts and can destroy devices if the construction is shoddy.

Also can any recomend a good usb-c slim hub with lots of break out ports to use with a HP x360. The Mac Pro has hubs available that have two usb+-c ports that plug in the slide in compact slim Line fashion. Looking for same that fits HP X 360 2in1
