  I am guessing you then don't get Woolies points as well?

  This definitely seems like a better reward rate than the standard Woolies points, but you would also have to factor in the bonus points you get from them with the deals once in a while.

  You may have tempted me to go through online Woolies now for even better rewards.

  Does it stack with Woolworths rewards + gift cards?

  If so, total is 5.385 Qantas points per $1 spent before 5% discount if you buy giftcards with a points earning card. Something like 5.67/$1 once you include the 5% discount.

  Notes:
  Assumes 1 Qantas point per $1 spent on card.
  Assumes converting Woolworths Reward 2000 points to 870 Qantas points

        Maybe we are talking about different offers. The mechanic with Qantas Mall: 1) You should click from Qantas Mall on the Woolworths tracking link 2) Once you are on Woolworths website, you log in to your account and shop as usual. 3) You can use your wish card if you have one for payment 4) If you have a rewards card attached to your account you receive points as usual. The only exclusion - you can't use any promo codes and you can't cancel your order

        I've shopped twice already via Qantas Mall, the only frustration for me - it might take up to two weeks to receive a points confirmation email from Qantas Mall.

        @Mashkez: So you are saying we can get 4 points per $1 from Qantas mall + 5% eGift card (+ points from CC buying) + any woolies min spend for bonus points promo from this? Sounds too good to be true.

        Edit. With a AMEX platinum card, 3 MR points per $ and using all this, you can get 7.83FF points per $ spent which is CRAZY (3 being in the AMEX program 1:1 and the rest Qantas). Combine this with the Woolies offers you can get which boost points quite a bit, this is going to make me so happy ordering groceries this way lol.

        @knobbs: What I know for sure - there is no minimum spend for the promo. Only usual Woolworths online limitation - $30 for Pick up and $50 for delivery.

        I mis calculated in mine, that sounds about right.

        I think exact amounts are something like:
        7.68:$1 Woolworths site*
        8.084:$1 spent^

        *ie $100 total will cost $95 (in gift card purchases) and net 768 points
        ^ie the spend $100, get $105.26 of groceries and ~808.5 Qantas points.

        Edit: does it count as a super market spend still if you purchase gift cards?

        @dyl: T&C say no bonus QFF for gift card purchases. Whether or not they can track that on the whole sale is another thing (maybe similar to AMEX deals), so not sure.

        How did you get those numbers?

        I did per $1:

        Qantas Mall: 4 QFF
        Woolies Points: .435 QFF
        AMEX: 3 MR points

        = 7.435 points per $1

        To workout out the 5% discount you need to spend that little bit of extra money to find per $1.
        5% discount = points * (1/.95) = 7.86

        I assumed you meant purchasing the 5% off gift cards through cash rewards and getting 3 points. Probably doesn't actually work like that, but 5% off + 1 point is better than 3 points and no 5% anyway imo

        Forgot to half the Qantas to Woolies points ratio, isn't 1000:830 or 870 or whatever. Too early for this lol

        @dyl: Ohhhh I see, you are correct. The bonus 5% does not apply to the AMEX card, only the others.

        It should be 7.668421 FF per $1

        2000 Woolies = 870 Qantas

        The 3 points per $1 still counts going through cashrewards as the purchase still comes through as Woolies. You just use the cashrewards referral to the Woolies site to get the discount.

    Hi, I've shopped twice. Received a confirmation email in two weeks after the first purchase. I suspect, that Qantas is waiting for the end-of-month order's validation. (validation means confirmation from Woolworths that orders were not canceled).

    reasonably simple. CC points, + 4:1 spend, + 870/2000 * dollar spend.
