As someone pointed out in another threads comments recently, it looks like Emporium brand is still the best value at 24pck of 3ply at $7 https://www.bigw.com.au/product/emporia-3-ply-toilet-tissue-…

    • Roughly 15.39 cents per 100 sheets (180 sheets per roll, 24 rolls, $6.65 cost if using 5% off WISH card)

Great deal, will get a few of these.

For those with memories of toiletpapergate from December 2014 - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/175577

I had my 576 rolls delivered to the front door, about a cubic metre I think, delivery driver just smiled :). Didn’t have to buy any for 15 months! Worked out to be a little over $8 for 36 back then.

    • +1

that was just the warm-up for the real ToiletPaperGate :)

      • your right indeed

          • you're ;)

Aldi dunny paper is cheaper 18 cents per 100 sheets.

Both are 3ply, in 190 sheets and 11x10 dimensions.

    https://www.aldi.com.au/en/groceries/super-savers/super-save…

    • The Aldi price equates to $12 for 36 rolls.
With all the discounts above, this deal comes in at 18.42c per 100 sheets.

Quilton 3ply is superior IMO, for just a fraction more.

      • Not a fraction more. 50% more if you compare with the basic ones. Aldi, Woolworths and Coles sell home brand ones for $0.12/100 sheets.

      • We had been using these Quilton for years and we found the Aldi to be of the same quality. In fact they are so similar that I suspect they are manufactured from the same plant.

Aldi is 18c/100 sheets all day everyday. No need to stock up and waste space.

  • Free delivery for over $100 for lazy arses

  • $7 24 pack 3 play Emporia also @ Big W is still better value.

    • Is this better than Quilton in terms of quality or worse in your experience? I couldn't find any reviews online of Emporia. Thanks

      • Not sure, but it's definitely better than Kleenex (but even paper is tbh) and Sorbent. It's thick and does its job.

It is weird how all other stores mention price per 100 sheets and Big W won’t. Makes it hard to compare.

    • +2

That's why maths is important outside of school. Gotta calculate them bargains!

  • I bought quilton hand tissues and they disintegrated in my hand when trying to dry my hands.

  • Perfect, thanks OP! Just in time, I had a massive spicy Vindaloo last night, I'll need a lot of TP for the aftermath.

    • Cheers 🍺🍻may be few more nights as weekend started 😜

  • Another option is buy 2 packs of Quilton (not sure how many rolls) @ $10 each & get 10c per litre off fuel.
A good deal if you buy a lot of fuel in one transaction.

  • Thanks for the post. Went shopping this morning stocked up on toilet paper and Easter eggs at 75% off with and extra 10% for family and friends discount work out to be a good morning.

  • FF10 not working for me…

    • FF10 was valid only last weekend

      • cheers thanks.

        • No problem..updated the post 😊
