Quilton Toilet Tissue 3ply 190 Sheets 8pk - 22.4c to 24.1c per Roll @ Woolworths Online

3380
DD8R2

Hi All,

Both the product in the URL (white) and the floral one here are 3 for $10 this week at Woolworths Online.

Assuming you purchase nothing else but toilet paper:

  • Add a minimum of 18 (needs to be in a multiple of 3) to your cart for a total of $60
  • Ensure you have entered your EDR number and also code DD8R2 if you havn't alreaady used it (20% off $15+ Beauty - thanks https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/170176)
  • Because it is a multi-buy, the code is actually calculating the 20% off the RRP of $6.99 ($1.40) and applying it to the multi-buy price of $3.33 per unit, which reduces the unit price to $1.93 (24.1c per roll) instead of $2.66 so your total should come down to $34.83
  • Combine this with either the 5%-7.5% off WW/Big W eGift Cards for payment and this will bring it down to essentially $1.79 (22.4c per roll) per unit
  • Can also combine with the new account discount of $10 off $100+ dollars if you really wanted to buy a year's supply

I put in a purchase on the 19/12/14 using this method and it was still working.

Mod 20/12 10pm - Woolworths have now made the maximum order 6 rolls:

'Quilton Classic Toilet Tissue 3ply Floral 190sheets' has a supply limit of 6. The quantity in your trolley has been reduced accordingly. To purchase a larger quantity, please contact us on 1800 000 610, or e-mail us at [email protected]. Please note - we do not supply trade orders.

We have therefore marked the deal expired as its not longer obtainable.

I never thought buying toilet paper could get this constipatedcomplicated…

You deserve some kind of medal

Thanks OP great deal, worked a charm:

    Qty | Item | $/Unit |Promo Disc |Total
    18 |Quilton Classic Toilet Tissue 3ply White 190sheets 8pk |$6.99 |$90.99 |$34.83

    Sub Total $34.83
    delivery Fee $11.00
    Less delivery Fee Discount -$11.00
    Total (including GST) $34.83

    • +1

Thanks OP, awesome deal and snagged it for $34.83 by following your instructions. No doubt Woolworths will soon wonder about these dunny roll orders popping up on their system, lol

      • +1

We might trigger a water contamination scare.

  • +4

After applying the code it brings the total from $60 to $38.68 for me. What am I doing wrong? :/

    • +2

      Same thing here

    • +1

I got $38.68 as well. How do you get $34.83?

    • too damn constipated to figure it out…. I bought it @ $38.68 and used my egiftcard for the extra 5%.
It's been giving me the 'runs' thinking about how to save the $3.83 (i.e. 16-17 extra toilet roll)

25.5c per roll is still pretty good :)

      • +2

Haha yeah I also copped it as I couldn't figure it out.

      • +12

I noticed all 5 of you are from Perth, figured it must be something to do with that and turns out that is the issue.

I changed my address from a SA to a WA address as a test and the total went from $34.83 to $38.68.

I couldn't work out why that was the issue but I see what it is now:

The regular price for this is $6.99 which the coupon is working the discount out on, however in Perth it shows as 'was $6.99 now $5.92' so it's working out the discount on the lesser $5.92 amount (this must be a Perth special $5.92 for 1 in addition to the $10 for 3 that we all see)

        • As usual, things are more expensive in Perth!

        • +1

sounds more like the WA miner's tax!

        • +2

          @mw: Actually, it's cheaper.

It just means that the BUG doesn't give as good discount.

  • why $60?

edit: i get it now, after the discount the min spend needs to be $30+

ive ordered and it worked as you described, thanks OP

  • What ingenuity! (I struggle to even spell the word). Thanks OP!

  • +3

up-voted purely on the length he went to.

    die hard bargain.

  • +2

  • +1

  • Thanks OP! Ordered 36 units of each 190sheet variety(Maximum allowed).
The family is going to yell at me when it arrives…. Hope I have enough room in the shed, wouldn't want to park the car outside the garage again this Xmas…. Barely avoided hail damage last time around. Living in constant fear of Melbourne weather.

    • +10

Just store a few rolls on top the car to protect it.

  • Thanks OP, was actually talking about the baby wipes deal from earlier this year.. this will keep us happy for ages

I am a Woolworths Online personal shopper. I quite enjoy the short trips with multiple items of toilet paper because I don't have to worry about things getting squished at the bottom of the basket.

    • I'd really like to do your job! any tips?

      • +1

It was my first time applying for a job and even though I hadn't had anything very notable on my resume, they employed me.

I think they were pretty eager to get new staff at the time because it is their first online only warehouse.

If you live in the city, eastern suburbs or inner-west of Sydney, chances are we're the ones picking your order.

Check back regularly on the WOWCareers website to see if they're beginning to work on their warehouses in your part of your city (if you don't live in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney), which I hear is starting soon.

Like checkout people at regular supermarkets, we have a scan rate which needs to be kept up for a performance review.

It's a pretty good job, but gets a bit boring sometimes. I worry sometimes about whether I've forgotten about something at the bottom of the bag, but we don't really get feedback on how the baskets are received so I'm unsure about my performance in this regard. I would never send out something that I myself would not want, though.

  • Not that i am complaining but how come the delivery was free?

    • 1st 3 orders or 1st month has free delivery? :)

  • +1
