  • Cheaper with free delivery on ebay @ $126 (not including PULL5 5% discount) - link

Hmm. That's a US import with seller warranty. Not quite apples and apples!

Plus, enough trouble getting a decent powerline sync speed with normal adapters yet alone feeding those units through a powerpoint adapter as well.

      • Good call - did not read that carefully enough. I'm glad you called that out before I bought one, thanks!

This one has same price as MSY however with free shipping (plus 5% off and a further 1% with cashrewards):

  • How well does it perform if it's on a power strip? Because without a passthrough, I aint putting it directly into the wall.

    • No comparison to plugging directly into the wall, especially if the power strip is surge protected. I don't have this exact model but had the non-wifi gigabit Powerline adapter and the difference was night and day.

      • Without a passthrough, I guess I'll have to pass then.

Only TP-Link make what I'm after, and it's very bulky.

        • looking forward to buy one of those wifi powerline.. not sure whats passthrough is? can u pls explain?

        • @Bik:

Passthrough just means the adapter has a power socket on it for you to plug appliances into the back of it.

If you google image search Powerline with AC Passthrough you'll notice the holes on the back of the units.
