yeah I agree. I'm doing a wollies order anyway. i was just happy to see prices comparable to Dan's… for once.
It's deceiving though, as normal customers will think they are getting a good price, whereas these prices are available from Dan's most of the time.

It is a good price if you're a regular bws (especially drive through) customer who usually gets this at a higher price anyway. They're not targeting people hunting around for the absolute cheapest price, because that's almost never going to happen.
Sure, it's cheaper at Dan's, but you're comparing apples and oranges. You may as well be complaining about how much chips and soft drink costs at the service station compared to woolies.
You're paying for the luxury of being able to drive in, stay in your car and not have to get out at all, order and have everything put in your car, and be in and out in no time. You can do this on Christmas day, good Friday, ANZAC day - 365 days a year, in fact. You can even do this up until midnight on some nights at some places.
If you have a Dans within 3500km of you that's all well and good.

I'm really not, the only defining factor for BWS is that they have drive-throughs available, other than that, I'd rather have a much bigger range and cheaper booze any day over convenience.

Nope, prices are not jacked up like the ebay 20% off stores. Full price on corona at bws is always $59, believe it or not people pay it all the time. Yes, it's often on some kind of special, either for a single case or on a 2 for 90-something deal, but not always

Know that feeling. Dans sometimes have some pretty good monthly member specials. Last month was the mountain goat range, I loaded up on Fancy Pants.
Heineken 6pks are currently $10 @ Liquorland with a Coles receipt voucher.
Most cases of beer are 20% more expensive then other retailers, so doesn't work out to be that good of a deal.
