I would like to know too. Can't get "high quality" oil and parts for that price in a shop. That's why i service my own car to ensure "High quality" parts are used to my vehicle.

When a store directly mentions their "star ratings or reviews" then those ratings are now considered useless. It's like the cat in the box. They can't mention them if they're great or they are clearly worth nothing.
Their usual $110 service is of low quality?
Apart from the oil change, what else do they do? Or is it just oil change and report. ? tyre rotation, injector spray or whatever.
Check lights.
Check battery.
Clean air filter.
Check under bonnet fluid levels.
Check brakes.
Check and adjust hand brake.
Adjust tire pressures.
Check steering components.
Replace engine oil and filter.
Check auto/gear box oil.
Check front and rear diff oil. Where applicable.
Check suspension components.
Check suspension mounting points and bushes.
Check under body.
Check exhaust system.
Check cooling system.
Safety check.
Diagnostic scan.
Test drive.
Vehicle report.
Fluids are topped up where necessary.
If your vehicle specifies a full synthetic engine oil then that's what will be used.

Don't know what people expect for $110?
5L fully synthetic oil RRP is probably around $70 and $12 for a filter, don't think they will be using full syn, at best a semi-syn most likely a mineral oil and a visual inspection with top ups where needed, don't think can expect too much for $110.
Even say $200 capped stealer servicing aint much better, might get a rotation and slightly better oil thats about it, but then again for a minor service $110 for an oil change is pretty good IMO, especially for those who can't DIY and don't understand much about cars plus the garage gotta make money!
I get my mobile guy to come out for my services but i always use Mobil1 fully syn (stock up when on sale) in cars outta warranty. Engines have been shiny and no sludge even after 220k! (my first car inside the engine was cleaner at 220k than my A4 at 80,000) I put it down to 10,000 changes rather than 15k
How much do you pay the mobile guy?
Usually about $180 thats just minor service, filters, top ups and 5L Mobil1 fully Synthetic with a bottle of engine flush, rotation if needed and once over check.
Parts are probably about $100
How many cars use only 5litres of OIL..fluid top ups at what cost
any 6cyl cars will be 5L easy
The brand of oil/filters is probably "high quality" lol.
Us here on ozb want 10L 0w50 Mobil 1 fully synthetic, KNN filters everything and tyres rotated for 100bucks and preferably car washed before pick up. Anything less is ridiculous
