  • Actually this is slightly different to this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/365459

    • The title made it seem like a dupe. However, BA's deal was

Use G. Pay 5 times to get $10 in Google Play Credit

      However this deal is referrals

Invite a Friend or Family to Google Pay, get $10 Google Play Credit when they pay for the first time.

      • Yeah noticed the difference and updated my comment ;)

  • Lol. Suddenly there are alot of toddlers and grandparents being signed up.

Deal may as well be removed for not being available :p

  • Google Pay has been added to the referral system, please click 'edit' in the grey referral box under the deal to add your code. If you are a new user you can use a random code there to signup for the $10 offer.

    • How do i get a referral code to put in? I click on the 'random' link under 'Referral Links' and it just takes me to Google Pay on Google Play. Am I missing something?

      • Once you've signed up to Google Pay:

Click 'Invite friends' in the Google Pay app to get your 8 character code

Then click edit below the deal to add it

        • Sorry, yeah I have already done that and added mine there. But in Google Pay in the 'Enter Promo Code' section it says…

'If you have a promocode or a friends invitation code, you can enter it here'

I was just wondering how I'd get a 'friends' code from the Random referrals on here?

        • @Sambuca:

Ah I see, you've already signed up but want to add a friend code now but you can't see the code because the referral system is in link form.

I assume when clicking the link it adds the code in automatically, however what I've done is changed the referral system from link to code, so when you click on random you'll see the code instead. You can grab a code from there now, I think that will be easier so if it doesn't work on signup you can still add it, also users who have signed up already but not made a purchase may be able to add a referral code.

          Thanks for the heads up.

Perfect, exactly what I meant! Have tested it and it works fine, I'll get $10 credit when I make my first purchase.

Hello my OzBargain friends, I am complying with Google terms and conditions.

  • I just received my Google Pay Invite email. It took a while considering how often I use Google Pay.
