  • is this same as $1,358 Dell ebay few weeks ago ?

    • This one? Has an i5-7300HQ processor.

Not quite, that $1358 one had 8gb, only the 256ssd and the i5 7300HQ

  • Pretty expensive considering it is only got a GTX 1060

For a similar specs laptop at PCCG will cost you 2.5k and one with 1070 would cost you roughly 3k so this is not bad of a deal to be honest

Got an Acer Predator with 1070 last year for $1700. So there have been better deals. Right now is a different story.

          Nice pickup.

Not really apple to apple comparison but I purchased the GTX1050 version last December for $1600 including the windows mixed reality headset and controllers bundle.

    • Thats pretty good. I got mine a couple weeks ago from jb for 1600 without that bundle. Do u really use it or its just good for couple of weeks and then no use of it?

      • i haven't even open the box yet lol

        • Lol. I guess u wanna sell it

  • The 1TB HDD part would be 5400rpm?

      Yes

This is a great price! The only issue I would have is the screen being a 60hz refresh rate. I recently moved to 144 and I can't stand anything that is less than 120hz now. I can't wait till 120 becomes the new standard.

    • Tell me about it. My home monitor is 120Hz and everytime I use a 60Hz screen my eyes bleed. It spoils you.

I never knew what I was missing before, now I can't go back. Most laptops are now unusable to me because of this issue.

  • I just grabbed one for work, smash out those spread sheets!

Australia always gets the shittier end of the stick when it comes to laptops ffs. This same laptop would retail for under $1000 in the US even with the currency factored in we're still paying nearly double the rate they are. So (profanity) stingy.
