It says Tarneit because that’s your local Coles. My Coles is in south-west Sydney. I have to spend $70 in order to get $1000 points. But the link in my e-mail didn’t work (and didn’t work for a few others who also got the offer)
True.OP does not necessarily need shop in that location to get 1k pts.It works in any Coles SP for him.

1,000 points isn't valued anywhere near what I'd have to pay after I get stabbed in Tarneit…

It's been quite a while since I've been to Coles. The offer for me is spend $80 to get 2,000 points.
I've still got plenty of Flybuys dollars to get through so hope they offer something worth it soon.
Although thinking about it….getting 2,000 points on an $80 spend is better than 1,000 on $50 but I find it difficult to get to $50 when some of my weekly shop is done elsewhere.
$60.00 > 2000 points. Link didn't work earlier on as others have mentioned.
