Seems to be a good deal, but I'd pay the little extra and get the regular HD25s.

yeah, i bought my HD25's (normal, not SP) from checmical records. when i was looking (about 5 years ago), they were the cheapest by far.

which hd-25 you refering to? there are many on chemical website…
but all are more expensive than 25 SPIIanyway, VERY great price, considering someone sell this SPII for $499 !!

Just make sure it's the 70 ohm version, not the 600 ohm one (unless you're going to use them amped).
HD 25-1 II are worth the extra over the SP, if you can afford it…better drivers, better headband, better cable (one sided).
The AIAIA TMA-1 is another option…supposed to be great too (even better apparently).
