  • or $186AU shipped from amazon.com (AudioTopia.com)

  • Seems to be a good deal, but I'd pay the little extra and get the regular HD25s.

  • Great headphones, I use them for DJing. But I got them from www.chemicalrecords.co.uk, currently selling for about $125 shipped:

    Sennheiser HD25SPII: £75.74
    Shipping: £3.15
    Total: £78.89 = A$121.50 (according to google)

    • yeah, i bought my HD25's (normal, not SP) from checmical records. when i was looking (about 5 years ago), they were the cheapest by far.

and i agree with magoo also…go the HD-25.

      • which hd-25 you refering to? there are many on chemical website…
but all are more expensive than 25 SPII

anyway, VERY great price, considering someone sell this SPII for $499 !!

        • Afaik, all the ones chemical records sells are the same, just with different accessories (straight vs coiled cable, different lengths, etc).

Just make sure it's the 70 ohm version, not the 600 ohm one (unless you're going to use them amped).

HD 25-1 II are worth the extra over the SP, if you can afford it…better drivers, better headband, better cable (one sided).

The AIAIA TMA-1 is another option…supposed to be great too (even better apparently).
