As per previous threads, this is a horrible whisky.
Previously, Glenlivet 12 (which has now run out) was a tasty drop at an extremely low price (often around $60/bottle)
This is it's replacement, and Glenlivet is taking the pss. I think it's a non-age statement of a few years average age. Whatever it is, I think it is rough and undrinkable.
My recommendation as always for cheap & tasty is Jura Superstition. Can be had around $75.
Your palate will appreciate the extra $25 spent.
Glen grant for $43 is nicer whiskey than this too.
I picked up a bottle for $40 one time out of curiosity/lack of other options available. Wasn't terrible for what it cost but I wouldn't get it again
This is nice whisky, light and very easy to drink neat or on ice. Purchased for $52 a couple of weeks back.
Umm it’s usually $50-55 at most liquor stores. Not 70
