  • Hi 'quickling' - yes, you can get them for that price at the website you mentioned; however you also need to be a MasterCard cardholder. We on the other hand accept PayPal. Hope this info helps. Enjoy your trip to the movies!!

  • Awww not IMAX Melbourne :(

  • …I just paid $30 for Tron at IMAX Sydney today, damn! Was worth it though :)

  • While this may be a decent deal for some of the cinemas listed, it's not really a deal at all as far as Dendy goes. A Dendy Club membership (i.e. $15 a year) gets you $11 tickets all the time.

  • +1

not that fantastic, its alright but seen better deals and dendy club is cheaper.

  • Can these vouchers be used for the 3D/2D feature length movies that get shown at IMAX sydney? (Tron, Avatar, Transformers, Megamind etc) or can they only be used for things like Dinosaurs Alive, space station, under the sea etc?

    Thx guys.

This is a terrible price if you are in QLD. Independent cinema pricing is usually much cheaper than this at standard prices.

    For example:

Cineplex cinemas (QLD) pricing for weekends is as follows
    Adults $8.50
    Students/Seniors $6.50
    Children/Pensioners $4.50

    Nerang cinemas:
Night time After 5pm [Excludes 3D]
    Adult $10.50
    Everyone else $8.30

And just to prove a point even further, Birch Carroll and Coyle at Australia Fair (event cinemas) has this pricing:
    Adults $9.50
    Everyone else $7.50

And at the Event cinema above you can watch 3D movies for only $3 more and you get to keep the glasses too…. that's the same price at these tickets PLUS 3d AND you keep the glasses which means the next time you watch 3D you don;t need to pay for glasses!!!

    horrible deal

they are always that price so not a bargain - only an ad.

    This is also a condition:

Not valid for the first week (7 Days) of a full length feature film release at IMAX Sydney.

    Taken from their website: http://www.theaustralianmovievoucher.com.au/what-is-amv.html

    • Thanks for that. Much appreciated.

  • Sorry op, but I agree with Scozbargain, this is an ad, nothing special.
if it was $100, then we can talk

    • NO, a bargain for an independent cinema is $5 per ticket. A little more may be a good price but still not a bargain especially when I bought 10 tickets to a major chain of cinemas for $77(.50?)

  • Not a deal. regular price is below $10
