This isn't something new. Coming from Europe, most other online bookies there have such deals. In a way it's like giving you a free bet. The A$20 wager on the eventual winner of the NRL or AFL is really money in their pocket in a way as it's near impossible to predict. Storm and Geelong are the respective favorites but they're also the champions at the moment and it's always harder to defend your title as everyone is looking to knock you off.
I'll say just pick one of the 2nd, 3rd or 4th choices and support the side through the season. Parametta and Collingwood look like good choices for what they're worth. Here's where the european bookies tend to stop but in this case they want you to wager a further A$30/- so you might lose a further A$30/- to make your top cost A$50.
