Looks like a great price and a good seller. I ordered one for myself. The mouse itself is very lightweight and big. But it's not very high for people with large hands. Check out Rocket Jump Ninjas review if you wanna lean more.

    I've had a 'non elite' version bought in 2010 (funnily enough for also $68) and it's still working after daily use.

    If the durability and functionality hasn't changed I'd recommend this mouse.

    • I had the old one for ages and it was still going strong but I decided to upgrade anyway. Only the RGB and higher dpi is the main difference but I just love the simple design of the deathadder compared to other gaming mice so i cant imagine going with a different model

      • Oh my, after your comment I looked at the specs… I didn't realise DPI's go that high - my one only has 3500 dpi (which I only set to like 1600) and also it only glows blue, now I feel inadequate.

        picture of my purchase in 2010

        • Isn't lower DPI more accurate though …

        • @Diji1:
          hahaha beats me… I just read online back in 2010 to set it to 1600dpi rather than 3500dpi… forgot the reason why but maybe your comment about accuracy is the reason why * shrugs * getting too old and can't remember… 8 years with the same mouse god dam!

          @aykay123: It really is no point. 16000dpi is literally unusable. I have mine set at 1800dpi currently and have no intentions of ever changing it

        • @GossipGoat:
          @Diji1:

          TIL (again, I guess)… Haha - thank you both for the insight! I guess the high DPI numbers is just for show and to impress.

          @Diji1:

          Yes, if you check professional gamers, they all use low dpi generally < 800 dpi, with many even lower than < 400 dpi

        • @bruc3: Depends on your game TBH, I play at 350 DPI for my FPS/FPP/TPS but a lot of other games, like MOBA's need a much higher dpi (1000+ imo)

      Same here man. But I have the 1800dpi version. Which was released in 2007 ish.
      Still using it today, like it was day 1.

    • Yep me too! I think I'm using the deathadder chroma. Great mouse and using the blackwidow keyboard and razer leviathan soundbar..

  • I use 800 dpi, its a mixture of low 400 which pros use and high for my 1440p monitor. But compared to the old deathadder mice, the main difference is the new sensor which is the 3360 Pixart. Plus the side buttons are more tactile and the top has 2 additional buttons. I use them as page up and down for scrolling

    • +2

      800 would feel quite low for a 1440p monitor (at least for me), I use 1800 dpi in windows (1080p) and autoswitch into 400 for competitive games. By the way the deathadder elite uses the PMW3389 not the 3360. Overall this would be a good upgrade from a pre-DA Chroma.

      • +1

        True, the name is 3389 Pixart. The 3360 is the public version of the sensor. 3366 is Logitech exclusive and 3389 is razer exclusive. Roccat uses 3361. Steelseries uses the same but calls it TrueMove 3. All of them are the same except for fine tweaking.

        400 is really good in games but too much arm movement :(

        • Using 2k DPI on 1440 atm.

  • I've got a quite old (5 or 6 years) Razer Mamba Wireless (blue only) and am sick of the sensor that stops responding momentarily. I'm hoping this will suffice. I think I can manage going wired.

      Wireless mice back then were horrible. Only recently the technology has gotten better with the Logitech mice.

    If anyone's bought from this seller before can you share your experience?

      Got one in the last sale from these guys, box came squashed but made it easier to open so no loss there. Delivery was quick and comms was good. Buy with confidence bro!

    Hey guys, just a quick update. I got mine today and its authentic but Chinese stock. The box was fine but a little worn out, probably from the shipping. I got a Deathadder ELite directly from Razer on Taobao last year and I have compared that one to this. Everything's working perfectly and Synapse is okay with it. There was no indication it was a used or refurbished model. Anyhow, have fun with your mouse. Sorry about the long links below.

    This is what a non chinese stock looks like from the bottom:

    This is a photo similar to the one I got from Treasure Online:

      Are you sure? I got my one from msy and the bottom is the same as your second picture

      • Positive, both the one from Treasure PC and Taobao are same as the second picture.

        It may be possible the Asian stock is also distributed in Oceania. It's good to know that Aussie stock is same as the ones I got

    • Just received mine, exactly as how you said. Are there any other differences between chinese stock and stock you would get at say MSY apart from the chinese writing?
