I just received an email stating
Get 50% off your next 3 rides using promo code NZ05X3219 before 8th of March 2018.

Here’s how:
1. Open the Uber app
2. Tap the icon on the upper left and select Payment
3. Scroll down to Promotions and add the promo code NZ05X3219
4. Request your ride.

Maximum discount of $15 for 3 rides only. Promotion expires at 23:59:59 (local time) on 8th of March. Offer not valid for uberTAXI or UberEATS. Code must be entered before you request your ride. Code is non-transferable.

I think this may be targeted but not sure.
