I've owned and worn one for a year, and don't have a scratch on it. You'd have to be pretty rough on it to scratch it up badly.

It's not continuous, it only takes a measurement every 30 mins
It used to be intermittent, the latest software allows for continuous.

I'd say these are still worth it at $98. Got one in the last deal, does continuous HR tracking while lasting ~2 days on average (not wearing during sleep). Very, very responsive and vibration is good (after turning on long vibrate). I have quite small wrists and the large band fits nicely on the second-last clip.

I picked one up, thanks OP. Will be good to see if I actually use it before thinking about buying a more expensive smart watch. The black no longer seems to be available so I went for Blue.

xiaomi claims that the battery can last up to 45 days on single charge. i believe that's assuming you don't use the GPS at all.

Samsung Gear Fit 2 can only sync with Samsung cloud.
I've got one of these and couldn't be happier. Battery life is insane, 45 days is no lie. Using the GPS you get about 22 hours apparently.

Why people wear fitbit
Because it won't make sense carrying it in the pocket.
They want to neurotically monitor themselves using inaccurate sensors on a device that collects data which causes them to lose money in the future via marketing.
Some appear to be of the belief that it causes exercise despite claiming that marketing has no effect on them.

Anyone got it yet? My confirmation email said arrives on or before the 20th but I didn't get a "your order is shipped" email. And it's almost 5pm on the 20th …
Just got mine and I am so pissed off!!! All the seals were broken, the charging dock is missing and this is obviously either a refurb or demo. I cant even tell if it works or not. There is some light grazing on the band. To top it off their return policy states to contact the store and when I did they told me i need to wait 24 hrs for a response from their online department. Not happy!!

Bought one! Bought a Ticwatch E after I didn't get one of these last time, but hey, can never have enough smart watches lol. This will go nicely with my MS Band 2, Mi Band 2, Amazfit Bip, and Ticwatch lol.

I got one when they were $50 and honestly not very impressed. It quite often freezes up and stops counting steps, or it won't start tracking an exercise session. I have to turn it off and back on again. Same with the floors/stairs counter, will quite often just stop counting. Battery life is only 2 days, so constantly having to recharge is annoying. Also loses all activity data when there is a an app update? Expected more from Samsung.
