Got an email with the details of 'Go birthday shopping at the Qantas Store by simply using this special promotion code on selected products at checkout before the end of the month*: BDAYFEB18', not sure if they actually check your registered bday or not, if someone is spending points might be worth a try. Appears to be targeted, and doesn't stack with other sale items, so probably limited benefit.
I doubt anything in the Qantas Store will provide value that good. I've got a stash of points I'm considering selling, but concerned about security/guarantee of payment and possible ramification for frequent flyer account in the process involved. I'll probably use this a similar discount offer as I rarely ever fly and happy with economy class when I do
