[VIC] Free Nutella Food Things at Brunetti [Flinders Lane] Mon 5th Feb. 7.30am

150

Mon 5th February, 2018
Brunetti Cafe, 250 Flinders Lane, Melbourne
This is near Degraves btw.

Apparently there's a World Nutella Day. We'll take it.

And Italian classic Brunetti is celebrating with a menu of Nutella-based items. For one morning only, the Flinders Lane location is handing out free Nutella-focused baked goods.

The menu includes pancakes drizzled with Nutella; croissants and doughnuts stuffed with Nutella; Nutella piadina and cannolis filled with … Nutella.

There's only enough for the first 1000 people.

Starts at 7.30am and runs until sold out.

As an ozbargain service I scoured the internet, but i can't find the price exact at Brunetti's for any sort of croissant, doughnut, or other pastry treat, with or without Nutella. My estimate for eating in at $7-$8, based on the below. Perhaps takeaway is cheaper.

The kids menu has crepes with nutella for $7.
      you can also get
bread baked in house (fruit loaf, multigrain, white, sourdough or brioche) with your choice of honey, nutella or butter for $7.

but that was from a 2014 menu, at Carlton.

The closest I can offer from the current menu is "Toast and Condiments" for $8. If you supplant "toast" with "croissant", and "condiments" with nutella, then you can assume this usually costs $8. Though that's a bit rich for a croissant with nutella. it's also a bit rich for a couple of slices of toast with jam.

I can also offer a Free range ham & swiss gruyere baked on Brunetti croissant for $10.50. Again, not Nutella.

      You're welcome.

  • Croissants are terrible. Avoid.

    • I had the croissant too. Wouldn't say it's terrible but wasn't super amazing. Wouldn't complain as it was a freebie!

All the free pastries (you could choose between a "bomber" (i.e. Nutella donut), croissant or pancake) but they're all smaller size than standard. A voucher is given out to redeem.
