Appears in the online menu under $15 chicken and chips.

Unlike last time, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/863362 it doesn't seem to require membership.

        When oporto first started it it was $15 whole chicken and chips. Then they dropped the chips so it was still $15 but only for whole chicken.

              @Sobieski: I’m in Sydney and pay anywhere from $9-$15 for freshly grilled premium fish with a lovely salad and chips. Huge portion. Samjon Seafood Warringah mall for anyone interested.

              For regular fried fish and chips I would not pay more than $12. Too many trying to get away charging these prices for basa too, so always ask what fish they use.

                @nubzy: Nice. I'll keep in mind when I'm next that way around lunchtime.

                In Barangaroo, Costi's is great and thier lunch special, grilled fish, chips or risk, and a garden salad is good value too. Can't remember the exact price but under $20.

                In this case it was a cafe, and I wasn't there for fish and chips just happened what my kid wanted.

                Was at Balmoral recently, and they were daylight robbers.

                  They have up to 8 choices of fish at a time. Something for everyone..

                  I’ve gone off the standard fish and chips, no one knows how to make it properly anymore and prices are way too high for what you get. Hoki and frozen chips even at $10 I can’t justify it. The grilled meals with salad are much tastier to me..

Yesterday I did the same by standing next to the markdown lady (although she didn't look impressed but i was a true ozbargainer grabbing organic grapes at 75c/500gm
