@virhlpool: they are overrated but they are much better than $2 thongs from big w/target. After a week or two those ones lost all their gripping and I would slip whenever it was wet.

I've always seen Catch deals on here, just wondering if they're trustworthy? They seem so shady to me but it could just be me!
I've never had problems, although shipping can sometimes be a bit slow. On the one occasion I had to return something faulty, they arranged return postage and refunded promptly.
A lot of people buy from Catch, including me. They are reliable, if they weren't, I am sure majority of the OzBargainers would riot.

Tried buying some batteries but it would give $10 off only on the product price and not on shipping. It means irrespective of product price, you will still end up paying AT LEAST $6.95 which is a typical shipping charge. Is that right?
Yes, every catch deal I've seen, where you get XX dollars off, always had a disclaimer saying that shipping is not discounted.

Perhaps you misread or misunderstood something?
There are items on catch with free shipping, which is NOT what I'm talking about (or Virhlpool).
If your item is $10 and shipping is free, you use the code to take $10 off the item, it will then be completely free.
Virhlpool is talking about the standard $6.95 shipping charge which applies to most orders.
If your item is, for example $3.05 plus $6.95 shipping you will not get $10 taken off, only the $3.05 will, so you still have to pay $6.95… Which is for the shipping component.
Tl;dr
Shipping must be paid, if there is a shipping cost during checkout
