Not a bad price, while the product is end of life, it's still got some alright features including AC wireless. Doesn't have a VDSL modem if you're on FTTN, otherwise you can put this router into "residential gateway mode" in the settings and use one of the 4 ethernet ports as a WAN port which will work for FTTP or if you're still stuck on ADSL it will also work for that too.

nope
Looks like this one has connection dropout problems too!
can you post your source please?
I have had three of them, every single one was playing up with time from random reboots to not accepting the credentials to wifi dropouts. Really wouldn't recommend it
After TP Link ARCHER D7 AC1750 router (still with TP Link under warranty), I have started searching the model to see if there have been dropouts etc associated with them. There were many forums complaining about this one and also on productreview as well.
I'm not denying there might be issues with some of these, but, to be fair you can find horror stories about ANY router. Let me guess…. you're probably referring to one forum thread on whirlpool… ?
I have one of these, and I would NOT recommend anyone buy one. Highly prone to dropouts and throughput problems even on a very stable line. The features looked good on the side of the box but the reality is it can't do what it's supposed to.
Yes it can, but only when and if it feels like it. Have one myself and hate it.
Sorry for probably simple question, but could you chuck a SIM card in this one for wireless broadband?
