Just come by Costco Moorabbin (VIC) and realise that they sell Joy-cons at pretty cheap price, only $97.99/pair! That's equal to EB Games Boxing Day discounted price which is cheapest around this time of the year. Also Charging Grip at $32.99 for who needs it.

More players mean more controllers
It comes with 2 (one pair). But if you want to play 3 or more players, you will need more.
Also, if you want to play two player with a full controller (ie. a pair of joycons each) - some functions are not available with a single joycon, so some games do not support it.
