It's only targeting the sRGB colour space, and only manages 96% coverage of that smallish colour space. It does sRGB pretty accurately, and it would be fine for editing for web. Indeed, unless you're using a fully colour-managed workflow (or are willing to learn how to do it and adjust your workflow accordingly) it's probably best to stick with sRGB.
If you're editing for print you'd do better with a wider colour gamut - something targeting near to 100% Adobe RGB or some significant fraction (say, >95%) of DCI-P3. But again, to see the benefit you have to adopt a fully colour-managed workflow.
You might want to consider LG's latest range of monitors if you want to use it for photo editing. Some of them are rated at sRGB 99%
