Forgive my ignorance but why selling tie-clips and spending so much time on it while your profit margins and interest for this product are low? Maybe use other deals as example to get an idea of the type of products which are of main interest to the ozbargain crowd
This is just a low quality alloy tie clip not stainless steel it'll corrode then end up in landfill.

It's cheaper at aliexpress $0.53au for gold and $0.56 for silver colors.
As stated by aliexpress these are alloy, they will corrode just like the OP's, I'd suggest buying something higher quality and nicer that will last and not end up in landfill destroying the environment.

I suggest you read my post again, I didn't put a time frame on it corroding, you obviously take care of yours and you don't live in an environment where it'll corrode fast.
As Takashi says yours aren't from aliexpress but somehow use the exact same photo photo?
