  I have one, PVR function is basic does not name recordings, tuner is very sensitive I dont get drop outs with this box unlike the Samsung S7 LCD & Windows media box in the other room. image quality is good, playback of recorded programs is near flawless

  I love Aldi clearance products. Very nice price point for an integrated PVR and HD tuner box.
  Might need to stalk my local Aldis to see if they have. Do you think they would match this clearance prices or is it at a store basis only?

    They're in the current cattledog too IIRC. Go into your local store & ask, if they don't have one get the manager to do a ring around the surrounding areas for you; surprisingly, they are mostly pretty cool about doing this!

      According to it, avi works fine, and mkv sometimes.
