This mini Bluetooth speaker from Logitech is a favourite with OzBargainers and has decent sound, especially for it's tiny size. I have the previous model, X100, which has hands-free speakerphone function (in-built mic), while this X50 doesn't. However, the X50 does have slightly better sound quality. Can also price beat by 5% at Officeworks (who are currently selling this for $29) which will make it $18.05.

Can't speak for this one but the Xiaomi speaker (the larger one) sounds bloody good, but isn't really loud enough for outdoor use or noisy environments. It's best for around the house and/or for personal use.

Ditto! Definitely more powerful than it looks, just look out for the grill - Easily breaks off if knocked the right way, but no biggie.

It's been my favourite mini Bluetooth speaker regardless of cost. I use it to listen to spoken word podcasts when I'm at home or in the garden (it fits into pockets :) and for a tablet when watching TV during the repeated electricity blackouts that the most expensive prices in the world aren't fixing.

Yep. To be honest the mic on the X100 I have is not that great and I never use it.

I've got one of these, does anyone know how to pair it to an iPhone? I can't find instructions anywhere, seriously! I've looked!
Press the power button till it goes into pairing mode (blue light flashing fast), then pair to it from your iPhone. It will be listed as Logitech x50 or something like that.
Make sure it's turned on before that.
I bought an X-100 for $20 and an X-50 for $15 (misplaced my X-100). I think the X-100 was a superior product (I see it also sold for $15) as it had an extra button and came with a lanyard, but I'm not sure if they're sold anymore so it might be a moot point. Glad I was in the habit of saving lanyards rather than throwing them away. Also needed one for my Xiaomi bluetooth speaker (which has approximately the same size speaker at these even if the casing is half the diameter).

i bought this last time it was on sale.. as with most ozB purchases, didn't open it for months.. just did a few weeks ago and i found the power button didn't work so couldn't turn it on/off :( anyone else have this problem? kinda can't be bothered going through the returns process for stuff <$20
The power LED is in the speaker grille, see if that is lighting up.

yeah, power lights up when it's on charge, so can get it working that way (light looks purple, which i assume means blue and red (bluetooth and charge).. but no way to turn it off

Bought this one on the previous deal. But the power button did not work well at all. Have to stress so hard to turn on or off after using a couple weeks.

Can the buttons on the X50 be used to pause/play? On the X100 the middle button does this and I find it very useful. However on the X50 the middle button is apparently the power button.
