Chemist warehouse has them on sale at the moment (repeats every few weeks)
    3x sprays for $49.99
I use these after giving up smoking 5 years ago, but when I have a few drinks or doing some activities like fishing etc I still get cravings so I take one of these with me for those occasions.
I read up and they have a lot of crap in them but it’s gotta be better than cigarettes on your body.

Only other alternative I could suggest (have friends that do it) is nicotine vaping, it’s not illegal to buy online as long as it’s for personal use.
It’s too close to the real thing to me so a quick spray for me and i’m right with these things.

    Good luck
    And thanks OP for posting

Cold turkey. At zero dollars surely the ozbargain way. (Time it with a cold or other period when you find you smoke less for an easier ride - it's all over in a few days.)

        Cold turkey

I thought you didn't eat meat?

Only other nicotine alternative I should have clarified.
I smoked for 3/4 of my life so cold turkey is still an option, but realistically with cigarettes as legally prevalent as they are, it’s a hard road I couldn’t have done.

What works for some doesn’t for others, it doesn’t make me weaker or others like me, it’s changing chemistry in the brain and in my case also DNA that’s the hard part of Cold Turkey.

I go 2 years without any nicotine substitute or cigarettes and yet still get strong cravings at times so these are a great way to help me when it arises.

Of course do what's best for you - weakness schmeekness, WGAF what others think. All the best to you and your quitting.

I remember once about a full year after I quit I passed a great lookout on a long drive and without a thought slowed down to turn in. It was the old smoker in me looking for a smoking opportunity. It took me about five full seconds to realise what was happening. The physical addiction was over in days with cold turkey but the behavioural patterns die hard. But my and others experiences suggest these behavioural cravings last only seconds or minutes - don't give in!

  • I remember spraying this into my mouth at uni (we had a trial device). I vomited. I wasn't the only one. I also watched a customer choking on this. Its an interesting burning felling. Oh and I smoke BTW. Patches and gum are much better, but overall willpower is the only way to quit
