Hi guys, I've just heard about this 'new' airline having a sale.
Flights from Melb - Phuket are available from 22 Feb - 31 May 2011.
It's $598 return, including taxes, plus about $11 for CC fees.
I think it's an awesome price for MELB-PHUKET return with a full service, as AirAsia were charging around $850 return going through Mayalsia, and this is direct.

Fair enough.. just these dates are from 22 Feb, which may suit some better.

thanks movieman, you just found me my flight back from Phuket! i however am going through AirAsia via KL (22nd Feb) for ~$220 including luggage, meals and taxes, not sure if sale is still on but thought i'd mention this just in case.

and the in flight entertainment looks very limited.
Emirates are doing MEL->KL/SING for under $700 rtn, so it depends on where you want to go I suppose.
Hi supabrudda, for international they're 'full service'… domestic flights are more limited.
But considering these flights are much cheaper than I paid for Air Asia a while ago, which involved transferring in Malaysia, and now meals/drinks… I thought this was a great deal!
The chances are high of this airline failing within the next 12 months.
shame they dont fly to sydney…
