Requested a call back from eBay, got the rep said it should work later. I told him there is only 3 left and I want 2. He stayed on the line to see the purchase and said I will receive the 10% refund in 5-7 days. Had to do 2 transactions to maximize deal because of $300 cap. He also said when the code starts working later I can still use it 2 more times because this was done as a courtesy adjustment!

The items: Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus 2

Store DJ sent an e-mail that all Pioneer products are 20% off for 6 days. So already a steal at $2,638, but figured I'd check their eBay store to see if they lowered the prices there too, and they did! So the additional 10% ($263.80) plus 1% cashrewards $26.38 makes final cost $2,347.82 each! Worked out to be about $400-500ea cheaper than the price in the states!

    • congrats

  • Didn't work for me when I tried to purchase a storage cabinet! Not sure how this one is excluded!

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/322501878145

    • Damn, maybe try a different cabinet?

      (code isn't active yet)

    • Even the item I tried is located in the search results from the PUNCH deal page. So could be a global problem.

      • It worked at night!

  • +1

Was told when I got through (took about 30mins) that the code should be working. Then that too many people trying to use at the same time. Then that I will be credited within 7 business days for the 10%. I had to go through the rigmarole of them replicating my order - like they didn't know there was issue. My trust of the scum that are eBay Aus is low - will I buy or just leave it. I have had a recent bad experience with them that ended in a credit card dispute - I don't want another for a few bucks.

    • Yeah that’s the issue. If you buy it now you’ve only got the reps goodwill that they’ll honour the price. If you have to argue for weeks is it worth the extra discount? Well, yeah it probably is let’s face it this is OzB, but is it worth the stress? Methinks, no.

    • I have a few ebay accounts be suspended for some lame reasons years ago. Tried to communicated for reactivation but their CS just repeated those robot transcripts. Ended up I create a new account with 0 feedback.

  • Working with a Kaptcha type check on it

    • Err… maybe not. Won't now progress past payment. Swamped me thinks.

    WORKING NOW

    • still not working for me

  • Seems working now.

  • Tried a few times, then works!

    WORKING!

  • Work now! And don't empty your cart but straight apply the coupon dudes.

  • +7

I feel closer to u all now. we've been through a lot together.

    • ‘It’s been a long road, getting from there to here.’

    • Yes…Only eBay can band all ozbargainers together as a lynch mob, with flame lit torches rioting through the streets searching for anyone associated with eBay to burn alive on a stake.

    • -1

      yes. all together@69.

  • Workin.

  • Working :)

  • Yep, just worked for me and did C&C @ TGG to avoid shipping.

  • Darn… "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again". Supercheap Ebay.

    • Same here :-( Tried multiple times

  • It’s working but it seems it’s not 10%???

    • +1

      Doesn't apply to postage.

      • I know it does not apply to postage, all my items were $720 + $3 postage, after code only gave me $50 discount!

    • Was for me.

    • I just called eBay and they confirmed that there's an error with the code for some people and will credit me the difference to my Paypal account so guys, check the percentages of discount!!! Especially when buying multiple items in one order!

  • It's alive!!

  • +1

    CONFIRMED - WORKING!!!

    • Confirmed for me, too!

    • another confirmation - finally working!

  • +4

    great…item in cart gone now…..

  • Something went wrong. Please try to check out again.

  • -1

Code worked - another great waste of everyones time. I am just sorry that Amazon Aus turned out to be the Clickfrenzy of 2017. My choice is to get a decent site which has reputable sellers with competitive prices. I want Amazon Aus to be selling their own stuff at prices that try to compte with the market, and to see Gerry Harvey retire with Hardly Normal a ghost of the past. I can but wish Gerry and eBay a really crappy 2018.

  • I keep getting "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again." when selecting store for click and collect? sigh…

    • SERIOUSLY!!! even after click confirm and paid I still get "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again." ARGH…..

      • Good Guys?

        • Supercheapauto.

I've tried more than 30 times. Now I am giving up. S***w U eBay.

    • Exact same problem with Bing Lee eBay- tried doing click & collect but it kept telling me to try again. I finally just checked out with the delivery option and it went through. I just called the Bing Lee support and they said if I send a message to the Bing Lee eBay store, they should be able to sort it out. Hopefully they'll refund the shipping, because $40 for delivery that's only <3km from me is ridiculous.

What I also found ridiculous is that the Bing Lee wouldn't price match with their own eBay store…

      • sent a message too about the "something went wrong" and trying to change delivery to click and collect…good luck

        • It's almost been 24 hours, no response but I'll give it more time. Hopefully they'll respond in time, but if not somewhat I guess getting a TV delivered isn't so bad since it's quite heavy.

        • @waysubsubway:

speak of the devil, i just got an email from them:

          "Thank you for your email.

We have made adjustment for you to pick up item at our Rhodes store.
Please note it might take 2-4 days to transfer stock, once stock is ready we will notify you again.

Please note upon collection you will need present a form of PHOTO Identification (This must include a photo, name & Address).

Also we have processed $40 delivery fee refund of your order.
The PayPal refund is normally instant,
however depending on the PayPal please allow up to 3-5 working days before the refunded amount appears on your account. "

        • That's good to hear! No response for me yet, but I also wanted to pick up from the Rhodes store. Hoping to hear tomorrow.

I am glad it took the time to go live. In the meantime I got a 5x flybuys offer. Extra $40 saving.

    • Hey Mate, wonder what do you mean by 5x flybuys offer> I also activated that but have no idea how does that work to save extra $$. Thanks

  • someone tell me what to buy

  • anyone got good recommendations on binoculars?

    • For birdwatching/nature: VANGUARD ENDEAVOR ED 8X42
      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/VANGUARD-ENDEAVOR-ED-8X42-BINOCU…
Brilliant for t$250 (before 10% off)

      • I got the mkii for 300 and yes they are good, mkii as well

    • The Celestron Nature DX 8x42 are nice, should be around $194 on this deal, link. They rate well on budget binocular reviews (eg best budget binos in this, link). I've tried them, they're very clear, lightweight.

    • Thanks guys ill look into more of both

  • Dammit, forgot Supercheap is on ebay too. Missed out on $4.20 of savings.

    • guess forgotten the SCA 2% cash reward as well?

      • +1

Nope, used cashrewards for the 2% on SCA site.

  • Wooo scored iphone x for $1550 new and 256gb

Buying the Worlds most overpriced phone is nothing to be happy about

      • -5

They've actually got really good reviews with faceID. Yeah it's been out on Shitsung but Apple did it better.

        • Lol @ shitsung

It amazes me how people can buy an overpriced crapple for laptop prices lol

        • FaceID will go to jail soon and never happened ever again.

      • +1

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you need to put someone else down over what makes them happy.

  • Just wonder how many time can we use this code ?

    • +2

Read the terms and conditions in the deal description.

    • 2 transactions per account. Add items to cart and check out together = 1 transaction.

  • When does it end?

  • Code is now working

  • When is the expiry date for this? Today only?

  • "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again."
When trying to C&C $77—>$69 from SuperCheapAuto. 3x in a row now - not happy
edit: is the code maybe not functional when the purchase price after discount is less than $75?

    • +1

Happened to me too on an order of more than $200 with SCA

    • asked ebay support, they said SCA's PayPal account is having issues

      • Yes, it was that. It is solved now.

  • -1

Ebay Gift Cards - do they allow to purchase using more than 8 gift cards in one transaction? anyone with success, as t&c is not clear on the details

  • +2

Expires: 11:59 PM 27/12/2017 according to the coupon listing on cashrewards.

  • +1

SuperCheapAuto giving me error. Asked ebay support they said SCA's PayPal account is having issues and need to be checked.

    • Same getting error codes: 70049 70084. Even tried paying not with Paypal and still no enjoy.

  • Ended up buying direct from Supercheap's online store (not Ebay - no 10% discount) and used Paypal there with no problem at all.

  • Ebay shows the 10% punch discount but the Paypal window still has the original price just before I get it to send the authorisation code to my phone. Will Paypal show the discounted amount further in the process or I should pay by card directly to get the discount?

    • Paypal will only charge you the 10% off price because ebay is subsidizing the 10%, that's why paypal is showing the total before 10% off.

  • Code is not working? I've got a msg: 'This code can't be applied to some of your items.'

  • Apparently, 'LUGGAGE' falls under 'TICKET, TRAVEL' category and therefore no discount..

  • +1

Submitted an offer yesterday on a Dashcam and the seller accepted.

Waited until today and checked out with the code and it worked :) a good $60 off the price!

    • +2

You paid $600 for a dash cam?

      • +3

$600 is not even the highest end lol. If you want quality stuff they go even higher

  • +1

its not much of a discount ($20) but the goods are already much cheaper on ebay so… :p

    good stuff.

also no price increase. so woop

  • +3

Code will expire 11:59PM 27 Dec according to Cashrewards.

  • Can you use this on items that add up to 75 it does it need to be each item was over $75?

    • Yes, you can add multiple items. The total should be over 75$
