    • +6

Christmas presents for everyone that PMs you their address on ozbargain?

    • Its $424 so $339.2? Thats the cheapest so far.Edit: Forgot $7.60 shipping

    • Decisions decisions. Which u buying @grababargain?

I prefer Sony but they coming from Auckland =/

      • my Plantronics came frim Auckland, too. I had to call them to remind to send me my order, otherwise them kiwis are square.

      • I bought the QC35 a few months ago. But either one is good. It seemed with the 1000XM2, Sony have resolved the headband crack problem found in the first model.

  • hope there are good deals for iPhone…

    • +1

      No chance. price jacking.

  • Can I use eBay eGift card to pay or it has to be paid by Paypal?

    • +1

Gift cards/certificates/vouchers are excluded from this offer. You won't get discount as can only apply one code.

  • +1

Page on eBay has been taken down. From 10am AEDT right?

    • Thanks, edited.

    • It's still there, but yes, 10AM.

      • Ahh, it’s back now!

  • Any recommendations from whom to get a GoPro Hero5 Black from? Planning to do TRS as well, missed out on the TGG deal.

    • i would probably wait a little, boxing day coming up

      • Yeah, was thinking if to wait till boxing day eh. You planning to get 1 as well?

  • Sth sth fishy… amazon is not a threat to them thus ebay is doing this old trick again..again ..and again…
No more excitement now as it shows up now and then and hardly any real discount. But still interested to see if anything comes up will make people buying.

  • Any good deal on sony Lens and camera bag?

  • +1

Is this going to stack with 10% off at checkout?

    • +1

I’m wondering the same thing too

    • They rarely stack ….. :/

    • found it in T&C

Not to be used in conjunction with any other eBay offer, coupon or voucher. Only one redemption code can be used per transaction.

      • +1

Is a store discount offer an eBay offer though? It's not a redemption code, but I guess we'll find out.

FWIW, PC Byte seem to be toggling this off, while others are untouched. The stores have been promoting stacking the 10% with the P5OZZIE code.

  • Check a motherboard and ram… Price jacked already

    • Damn, I was hoping for some cheap ram too…you should have got the Amazon gigabyte gaming for 199.99 if you are after coffee lake board

  • Will the 65" LG Oleds be in this for any of the stores?

    • Mate has his eye on this if $3.5K he plans on buying!

  • +7

Ok! Lets see if any of these prices change by tomorrow! Silver iPhone 7/8 64/128GB

    • which one is AU stock and TRS eligible?
      thanks

    • The sellers know about the sale before this post.

    • I’d wager a bet on myphonez jacking up price.

    • +1

Wait a second, even the Apple store sells this phone for less! $1079 at Apple. These sellers are jacking prices even before a sale?!

      • After 20% off jacked prices my phonez works out to be just over 10% off. Not 20, but still something

        • That's what they're trying to make you think and say! Refuse to buy if there is any price jacking.

        • @Sharp:

That's what they're trying to make you think and say! Refuse to buy if there is any price jacking.

It's still cheaper than anywhere else..
Only noobs fall for the 20% number.

      • Report the price jack to ebay and fight with them for a refund for the difference….

  • -4

    ebay > amazon

  • I missed 1 or 2, but here's a search for all the stores involved

    Search

  • Futu good buying from? Going to buy a monitor but worried it will be damaged (shipping from nsw-melb)

    • Why not send the seller a message asking about shipping insurance? Also, won't PayPal protect you if it arrives damaged?

      • PayPal and eBay will both 'protect' buyers when packages arrive damaged.

    • I've only had good experiences with Futu after multiple warranty claims and returns which they covered the cost for. Perhaps give the box a quick check for any damage before signing for delivery.

    • Futu are remarkably good with warranty claims in my experience…

    • +1

well, most people would suggest going for a branded GPU, so that excludes cheapo brands such as INNO3D. Feel free to risk it, but that savings aren't usually that great

The last good deal on the 3GB gigabyte model was around $239 so there is benchmark for you. Often the prices get jacked for the first few days, but come down after.

If you're after the 6GB model be prepared to spend a lot more and even consider going up a step to a 1070 if you're going to spend big anyway

        • +1

Get Asus. Though MSI has 8-pin so it can be overclocked at higher voltage if you ever want to. Look around online to see which one you prefer.

1060 6GB still quite expensive given that it is more than a year old, thanks to mining…

        • @Vinceeenntt:

For a $120 more you can get this:

          $487 for 1070 8GB
          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Inno3D-GeForce-GTX-1070-X2-V3-8GB…

Otherwise Asus is a good brand

        • +1

@Vinceeenntt: A good choice for 1060. Asus makes great cards. If you want 1070, look below. Though I cant recommend Inno3D card. Your choice, mate :)

though 1080 MSI armor listed on other deal by futu/shopping express at less than 600 a pop, that is a great deal

        • @Vinceeenntt: i5 7600k would be enough if you are using it for gaming and light-to-moderate computing. gaming at the moment (or near future) doesnt need any multi core processing, maybe in 2 to 3 years' time, by then you probably need to upgrade your pc anyway. i7 would be more ideal if you do heavy computing such as video/3d rendering.

        • +1

@Vinceeenntt: if you are not going to overclock 7600k then 8400 is better in my opinion. newer chip and perform at the similar level to 7600k. and you should get it cheaper.

      • The last good deal on the 3GB gigabyte model was around $239 so there is benchmark for you. Often the prices get jacked for the first few days, but come down after.

Fyi - I bought one of those in the $340ish deal, and it's quite a piece of shit for mining purposes.
Temps are always up at ~80 degrees (hotter than my 1070's) and it's ~12% slower than my other 1060's when clocked at the same speeds.

You get what you pay for I guess.

        • The 3GB versions are locked to only 90% of the 6GB's performance, so that'd be about right.

    • +1

tbh mid-tier card just go for the cheapest. if the price is similar, just go for a bigger brand, and if that is similar, just go for the esthetic you want

  • The discounts are capped at $1000 max.

    • Can you even get anything that discounted? Or does it stack between multiple items.

  • Vaya will have the PIXEL 2 XL 128GB Current $1649(Above RRP)….tomorrow 20% off $1319.20 delivered from HK!

  • Anyone have experience with buying with AU eBay and AU PayPal, but get them to send to Taiwan?

    • Yeah I do that for all my online purchases, better that way.

      • Do you experience even better faster shipping since majority of the stuff are sent from China??

  • Any deals on soundbars

  • Too high prices on Allphones_online…

  • You will see the price increase today and 20% off tomorrow, the price totally didn't change. Almost same as no discount.

  • Looking for a 500gb ssd but pretty sure they're all just going to get jacked anyway :(

  • I'm wondering can you click buy now before price is jacked then at 10am go to checkout to pay for your order and use the code on the old price?

  • Amazon made no difference. These sellers still price jack.

    Totally unlawful

  • "Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later." is it active tomorrow 10 am?

    • yes 10am

  • Cool, another highly illegal sale where they all raise the price by 20% beforehand. How have ebay not been fined 6 figures for this sort of stunt yet???

  • are the qc35s 424 or 424 less 20%? at 339 that not a bad price for series 2

    • price did go up to 467

  • +1

64gb iPhone X should be $1344 after 20% discount and after TRS. (By my calculations).

    That prolly makes it affordable.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Apple-iPhone-X-10-64GB-Latest-Mod…

    • +1

I'm not convinced that the warranty is 24 months covered by Apple Australia.
'AU STOCK' just means that it'll ship within a week?

      • Really?

        That sux.

        Borderline deceptive imo.

The specs seem to list the Australian version by model number. Prolly best to take a screenshot.

I’ve redone the calculations and got $1310.40.
(Fairly sure the TRS discount (if there is one) is calculated on the non discounted price).

        • +1

          I got a reply from my-phonez:

          "hi,
as its an Australian Stock it has 2 years manufacturer warranty.
          thanks"

    • Sorry, dumb question guys. Is TRS tourist refund scheme? How do we go about taking advantage of this with an eBay sale?

  • keen for a decent qc35 ii deal too~~!!

  • +12

If everyone worked together to report these stores, they would end up like Kogan. Nothing changes if all you do is complain here.

    https://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/kogan-pays-32400-penal…

''Before or at the start of the promotion, Kogan increased the prices of the three computer monitors featured on its eBay store. As a result, although consumers received a 20% discount off the newly increased prices, they in fact only received a 9% discount off the previously advertised prices for each of the three computer monitors.

Shortly after the promotion ended and the 20% discount offer ceased, the advertised prices of the three computer monitors returned to the lower prices offered on Kogan’s eBay store before the promotion commenced.''

    • +1

God i hate Kogan, even more than Harvey.
      Did i just say that?

He's got the Dick Smith name now too, so don't buy from them either.

    • +3

OK! Everybody (who gives a sh*t) send me screen shots of "before eBay asked us if we wanted to participate" prices and "gotta protect our profits so let's jack up the prices" prices, and I'll gladly draft a letter to the ACCC. They get fined for every breach of the ACL, so as many instances of price jacking per offender as possible please.

  • Whos better in terms of shipping; Futu or shopping express?

    • Pretty sure they're the same outfit…

  • +1

Shopping Square put up their price on Ipad Pro's 10% since last night. Not worth it for a grey import now, only slightly less than officeworks local price.
