this will make it the 3rd LG remote I have and they still take ages to find ……
Why can they not make remotes like a cordless phone - misplace the phone just press a button on the basestation and the handset beeps.
Why can't tv makers do something similar?I have now gone the google home/Harmony hub route but I suspect I'll still need the remote and lose it.

My mother bought a new fancy LG TV and it cost a (profanity) ton for us at that time. Me and my sister as kids fought a lot and one day she threw the remote at me, it smashed and is half usable. We've been using that remote for like 6 or 7 years…

It only works if you select postage, I tried with C&C and got the same error message, so I ended up just paying for the postage.
Was just wishing I had one of these to adjust aspect ratio without having to go into menu. Thanks OP.
