Was looking for a 65" TV and came across this deal. Good very price for this TV.
Possible price match at JB Hi Fi. Even better price if you have access to discounted gift cards for either Harvey Norman or JB.

How does this compare to the Sony?
Sony X9000E is a high end TV, Samsung 6100 series are entry level TV, maybe comparable to Sony X7000 series.
Thanks
What about the Sony X8500E at 75"? This is older gen?

Also the samsungs seem to have 10bit which is impressive.
@carlitos: All sonys are HDR10Bit
Great TV, terrible audio. Like I mean, the worst speakers I've ever heard.
Buying this will rapidly accelerate any plans to purchase soundbars/surround sound.
10/10 would buy again.
Well said. Like with all big screen TVs, the audio is pretty average compared to the screen size. You definitely need a better sound system arrangement for an optimum experience.
You buy such a TV and have no speakers hooked up? Interesting.
God no. Just saying, expect to pay a couple hundred more if you don't have sound kind of external sound system
Good! I feel like inbuilt speakers are a complete waste of money on any screen above 40". Shitty speakers = perfect.
I got a 7500D and the sound is good. Will be getting soundbar still later, but tv have the speakers on the rear and that doesnt help in great sound, unless you got a tv with exposed speakers on the side
I have the same and a HT CT790 soundbar, the difference is amazing when you have got audio paired with this tv
Aside from the built-in soundbars on the top end LG and Panasonic OLED TVs, the last decent tv speakers were on Pioneer plasmas.
And they are all front facing
i've seen these quite a few times in store, the picture quality is really not as impressive as the reviews say, i reckon u'd be better off buying an LG nano cell tv which could be found for a similar price every now and then
Great tv at a great price, amazing picture quality . Fantastic 4k streaming and Blu Ray , agree with BensonP sound is average.
Thanks Tendliya for posting, as i made a successful claim with the GoodGuys for 30 Day price guarantee.
Highly recommend this unit after several months searching for a tv this model blew away alot of the competitors models. If you cant afford Oled this is a very good option. Forgot to mention i purchased the 55 inch.
I'm hoping for 4k hdr 65 inch under 2k…
it's called Hisense N7…
no need to hope……………….
it's actually 20% off today at the good guys, so way under $2k
Was hoping for sony or Samsung
Why is there always such a significant price jump for anything over 55"?
The screen area.
I mean, it just seems like such a dramatic jump compared to 32” to 50” for example.
Why are we stuck on 65” these days
I would gladly trade 55” OLED for decent 75” LED LCD
Is 75” too big?
Free to air would look pretty ordinary, unless you sit like 5 m away. FHD and above would be fine 3m out
Bigger is always better :)
good guys had this price during that recent 20% off sale. great deal for those who missed out
They actually dropped their prices once the good guys sale went live. I bought the X9000E from HN a week ago at a much higher price but they were waiting on stock. I cancelled my order and bought from TGG the moment their 20% sale started and then got a PriceHipster notification that HN died theirs an hour later haha.
or just buy 4 x 55" at $499 and make a wall out of it.
Pissed. Bought this 6 weeks ago
Did you buy it with a 28 degrees MasterCard by any chance? Then, you should have shopper's protection.
Nah. Havent heard of that. May have to look into it
so don't buy 65inch tv's not on sale, mr derpa derpa
Its a shame they dropped 3D viewing
3D is sooo 2013
Agree.
Look, we get enough bad humour from jv.
I've got the Harvey Norman offer on my card, if anyone is interested…
I just got a 65 x9300e from HN for $2600. $300 more you get the best non oled TV at this size
i second this, if u gonna get an LCD might as well get the x93
Can you please pm me the receipt?
no, no. hold steady until i see good discount on x9300e.
A good very price!
Price good very indeed
This tv is so price.
Please don't confuse people an hour before Saturday kicks in during this busy Christmas season
Damn no 75" on sale?
