Hi folks,

Just received an email from Camelcamelcamel, the Huawei M3 mediapad 32gb wifi only is the cheapest price its ever been (happened once during Black Friday sale). Not bad for a Android 8inch tablet alternative to an Ipad Mini 4.

Good resolution, fast processor and expandable memory, also upgradable to Android 7.0.

edit: I used Amazons conversion rate, which I know is bad. I used my Mastercard 28 degrees so I know I'm going to get a better deal.

I actually purchased this from JD.com during the 11.11 sale. It had free shipping to Australia… Got it for $352
ha it took about a month to deliver, meanwhile I saw painfully Black Friday sale go for this price! haha

Only down side is the US model doesn't support 5.8Ghz, so no AC due to FCC non compliance. From my research it seems to be locked via software, so you should be able to reflash it to a different region I assume.

  • I love everything about this tablet except for the micro USB charging port… damn it, why the hell?!?! My Huawei phone has USB C… I'm not using two different chargers for my tablet and phone. I know it's pedantic but I'm not buying this tablet because it should have C.

    • don't know why you got downvoted but I actually agree, it should have been a usb c to make it a perfect tablet IMO.

      • It's clearly a top-tier tablet from the specs, the chip, the screen, the speakers and build quality are all good. In Huawei's phones, their top phones moved to USB C ages ago, not sure why they didn't make the same move with tablets. The funny thing is that I have 3 other friends who didn't buy the M3 for the same reason.

I am waiting for someone to make a 4:3 ratio 8 inch Android tablet with a high res screen and USB C. sigh… so I keep using my aging Nexus 7 despite all it's issues.

        • I have my old nexus 2013 and this tablet. Can really feel the difference how I use my apps these days. No regrets despite having the old micro USB for a charger.

  • Picked up the same with 4g for $300 shipped during the eBay 15% off mobiles eBay sale and have been very happy with it

nice tablet. only thing stopping me from buying it is that i would rather a 9-10" screen.
if only the Asus Zenpad 3S would drop in price :(
