      I wish KT26s were still the same quality they used to be.

      I bought some new old stock off ebay several years ago. I wear them everywhere including mowing the lawn, after which I chuck them in the washing machine and dryer. They've worn huge sections of the paint off the dryer drum as they bang around inside but years later are still intact! But the other night it rained and I noticed they've worn through on the bottom and my sock was getting wet. Those poor Kmart imitations are dreadful. I looked at them months ago and the bottom was already separating in the store. :-(

      this is the 998 range… NB premium line… which retail for USD$180…

      yes, this pair on special is a fugly colourway, but the 998s are far better quality/comfort than the cheapo 2xx, 3xx, 5xx you can get on sale at COTD…
