You really need to break them in, it takes a while but once you do then even those shoes are fine for hiking believe it or not.
If I saw someone hiking in them I'd be thinking what a muppet but I'll take your word for it
Return policy sux. I use to like Timberland but QoS is pretty bad.
What’s wrong with the return policy ? Thx
I can vouch on bad returns policy
I got a pair delivered , never worn not even tried or taken out of box as it was supposed to be a gift but had to return due to wrong size. I went to store after probably 2-3 days or so , the store lady in sydney cbd store initially refused to return coz she thought they have been worn…. And she was justifying it by saying look in my opinion it has been used , where clearly there was no dust or any usage marks.
After arguing and explaining that i never even took out of the box for 10-15 mins she said ok i ll replace it only because she had a party last night and is very tired…..I d say be careful the store reps would do anything to not to accept a return
I guess ideally try Click and collect then return in store if doesn't fit. But they can't really do that you have 30 days to return.
@mac2403: The point is if they have 30 days of return and for the shoes you have to wear it to atleast try the sizing . Then the store should be considering all of these factors. Additionally these shoes are often delivered directly from factory outlets (dfo home bush in Sydney etc) where last pairs could have been on shelves and been tried out many times.
I have been using timberland most of my life, the sizing is always different between boots , casual and running/trail shoes so make a plan before buying
Saw a review commenting the same about dodgy return policy.
Had my eyes on a pair of boots but will think twice now…
Anyone actually know a size 7 man.
Got the alburns last time for $60, 4 years and going strong
Has anyone had this weird issue with logging in, where it unsubscribes you from the mailing list?
Either way, I've had my eye on the GreenStride for a while now, wish it were the blue pair, but the beige ones look nice too. Thanks OP!
Anyone else own these and feel like they have bricks tied to their feet when they’re wearing them?
at the beginning yes but not after break in
I bought the 6 inch premium boots before COVID, I've worn them only a half dozen times because they're actually damn heavy and not really comfortable for walking.
I guess what I'm asking is how did these become so popular?!
