  • these are handy over school holidays when away from home to make sure you don’t get stung with the$10 gb phone plans when you go,over your limit.

Shame they don't have any stores in NSW.

I need a USB dongle thing for a PC, any other options? Can't see this being sold in Officeworks.

Nevermind, found it at Hardly Normal for $20. Not sure if I can price match Betta since they don't have stores in NSW.

Better try at Broadway. The local HN are rude jerks when it comes to this sort of thing.

Betta have over 40 stores just in NSW. If you look on the website you can find a list of all stores and see if one is close by.

Sweet. For some reason it wasn't showing on the website for me.

        • Your website is weird. It defaults to Brisbane. When I type my postcode into the map (2006) and press submit, it brings me back to the map of Australia.

The postcode is still set to 4000.

If I click "NSW" it still shows me the closest stores to 4000 rather than the closest ones to 2006 (Uni of Sydney).

If I type in 2006 and press submit… back to the state selection map with 4000 as default.

It's supremely unhelpful because the first results I get are Mullumbimby and Lismore, instead of say Eastwood or North Sydney because the website is so obsessed with Brisbane.

        • @StrayfireX: strange, haven’t heard of any other issues. I’ll let the IT guys know about your issue and see if they can find out what’s going on. Thanks for letting me know.

      • I was able to price match at HN Broadway.

      • Hi :) Do you know if the Harvey Norman listing also included the 3GB + 2GB deal, or is this exclusively at Betta Home? I called up Warwick Farms but they said they dont' stock it :/ Anyone have any luck finding it in other Sydney locations?

        • Not sure but Broadway Harvey Norman is out. Broadway JB Hi-fi refuses to price match and insisted on selling it for $70.

Gordon Harvey Norman has stock but getting them to price match is worse than a root canal.

          @StrayfireX:

Hey just saw this product on Price Hipster and saw your comments, if you bought them that's okay but it's now $9 @ HN btw :)

    • Hey do you know if this deal is still up @ Coles? I searched it up and it comes up for $39

      • probably because its already wednesday? it was $14 last week

        • oh okay :( that’s a bummer :( thanks for the reply anyways :)

  • How do these compare to the other Telstra 4GX (ZTE m910v) for range and frequency/band support?

Currently using one of then at home but finding I'm having to reboot it regularly.

  • Stores in Sydney seem to only be:

    • Eastwood
    • Gladesville
    • North Sydney
    • Villawood
    • Warwick Farm
    • Kingsford
    • Minchinbury

    Stores in Newcastle:

    • Belmont
    • Toronto
    • Maitland
    • Raymond Terrace

    Further out:

    • Kurri Kurri
    • Muswellbrook

    Further up:

    • Gloucester
    • Forster
    • Wingham
    • Kempsey
    • Nambucca Heads

I can't seem to find the remaining 22 stores in NSW?

    • Eastwood doesn't have any stock. I just went there.

      • That's good to know I guess, I'll put it up there. can't edit comment, thanks anyway though

Was more interested in the store's locations than the stock levels though :)

  • Is this actually the E8372, because that's normally described as 4GX USB & Wi-Fi plus. Is this an older version without the 4gx?

  • Where does it say exactly that you'll get 5gb data from Telstra? Do you have the link to the promotion?

    • Connect up to 5 Wi-Fi compatible devices simultaneously. + 5GB (3GB + 2GB BONUS). 434401. Bonus data on selected devices to use in Australia within 30 days when you activate on Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband Plus. Activate by 26 February 2018.

Right I see it now. My friend activated the sim and said it's only 3GB. Tried to look on the Telstra website but couldn't find the link to the promotion.
