[NSW, VIC, QLD, WA] Ribs and Burgers Double Cheeseburger $6

1060

To celebrate the milestone, Ribs & Burgers are offering $6 Double Cheeseburger to be sold in all stores from 20th Nov - 26th Nov.

It might just be online orders only…

I have been thinking about buying this burger which is normally priced at $10.
Noticed the ads for this saying its now down to $6.
That's enough to convince me. Off to Ribs and Burgers for lunch today.

Can anyone see how long this promo is on for?

    • I would really like to know this too. It appears to be for their birthday, which hopefully doesn't mean just 1 day!

Edit: check their facebook, it says "$6 until stocks last - Happy #RBday Ribs & Burgers."
      so i'm guessing it's today only :(

You can also get it delivered for free with deliveroo

Can highly recommend! Have had a few of the doubles at $10 (and that was great value - really sensational burgers). For $6 they are an absolute steal.

    Pro-tip - couple it with their Milo thickshake. You're welcome… :-)

    • Pro-tip or Fat-tip?

    • +1

Added a Milo thickshake to my order for $7.90 so it better be good! :p

  • Had this for lunch and the burger was really nice and filling. I was going to buy it for $10 then saw the price change to $6, so even better. Probably buy again at this price, but it certainly not good for my waistline having many of it.

Knowing Ozbargain I knew somone would post it and here it is.

I think Vanilla malt milkshake is tops, but a little on the pricey side.

Obviously you are not worried about your waistline otherwise you would not pay to become fat.

      • So your insinuating that someone who worries about waistline can't enjoy a burger or two and a bargain at that? I pay for it to enjoy the food and grab a bargain which is why I'm here in Ozbargain. And yes I do worry about getting fat and still enjoy food but I don't sit in my ass and do nothing about it. I try to live a healthy lifestyle eating healthy and exercising. If I am obviously not worried at all I wouldn't bother would I?

This is the exact type of food that causes obesity, even if it is on sale for 40% off, you shouldn't buy it, that is the point I was making. Same with specials on chocolates and recently I have noticed posts for cheap alcohol which is also troubling. You just have to avoid these things. I saw recently an interesting video about overeating and cramming. Foods like this are to blame.

        • @freemoneyhunter:

I appreciate your concern, but I am quite aware of that these kind of foods are not healthy for me which is the reason I commented earlier about the waistline. As much as I like to avoid eating junk food, sometimes you gotta treat yourself once in a while. Can’t live on eating rabbit diet everyday >.<

  • 4pm lunch?

    • If you are asking me. No.

Had it at ~11.40 which was way before this was posted and I was also considering to post it, but knowing Ozbargain I knew someone would post it anyway.

Its not every time you can get $6 burger and good one at that, so I guess I will get some more the next few days and think about burning the fat I gained later.

      • I was asking OP since he said he was off to lunch, but it was 4pm at time of posting.

I see you are one of those people who do not understand timezones…
          Australia has several of them.

        • +1

@blaircam: The amount of people who I've met who have no clue that Perth is in a different time zone is disturbing.

        • -3

          @blaircam:
2pm is still pretty late, how do you not have starved.

        • @ATangk: Still not so good on the timezones concept.
4pm in Sydney = 1pm in Perth during daylight saving.

  • Last time they had this one, we arrived and they were "sold out".

    • +2

Were you still able to buy it at $10 coz that wasnt sold out? ;)

  • Last time they had a set number for the day that you could buy at the reduced price and when they ran out at lunchtime you then had to pay full price for the rest of the day, so thank you for the post, but I'll give this one a miss.

  • Went there twice, food was burned to maximum, nope thank you.

    • +1

Good to see they're already getting into the spirit of the Ashes

  • Also, free delivery from Deliveroo, although minimum order fee still applies if under a certain amount :)

  • +3

Ordered online and locked in the price for a pick up on another day =)

No risk of them running out

    • I prefer them freshly cooked. For $4 saving, no willing to let it sit in their store for a couple of days. just saying…

  • +1

Thanks OP, placed an order to go with my day of errands! Can't wait, the pictures look delicious!

  • -1

Went to check, minimum delivery of $25 for free delivery… and you ass'es better tip

  • Great deal at $6. Just had mine!

  • I was a fan of Ribs and Burgers @ WA until they gave me a burn ribs for my take away order.

    • -1

lol. I dont know why I post the comment about burn ribs. This is a burger deal not a rib deal. it just come out from my mind every time when I heard about Rib and burgers. Btw, I think you can order burger online and pick up in store

      • You certainly can. This is what I did.

  • This or KFC? as KFC offer way more for just a dollar extra

    • The new Audi S3 or the 1990 Holden VN Commodore which is a bit bigger?

      • Is it really that good?

  • +1

Yeh my burger was very average burnt hard meat, wont be going back even if it was free!

    • +1

I got the same experience. Bored waiters, average food. Twice burned food.

  • Mmm, turns out the Hawthorn store is just down the road from my work. What a nice surprise.

  • bloody hell….was it just my burger or does this make you feel sick as hell afterwards? Ordered from The Star in Sydney with free delivery via Deliveroo tho, so that was cool

    • How do you get free delivery?

      • he bought 5… thats why hes sick

      • hey mate, if you order via deliveroo, and the order total is over 14 dollars, free delivery (at least from The Star to Wynyard)

  • Had this yesterday, a decent $6 burger, possibly $8.. 10 is excessive

    • +1

      For mine $10 is okay.
For $6 its a ripper deal.
