FREE 200 QFF Points from Completing Qantas Life Insurance Survey

140

Just received an email from Qantas offering a free 200 QFF points for a 1 minute survey.

I just did the survey and it was simple to do, though it does mention you have to consent to receiving a phone call, so I put a fake number.

The T&Cs say it's targeted:
You must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program to earn Qantas Points. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Terms and Conditions. Any information collected in this survey will be handled in accordance with the Qantas Privacy Policy. This offer is only for the original recipients of an email from Qantas Assure about this survey. Qantas Points will not be awarded to any other persons who attempt to complete the survey. Each Qantas Frequent Flyer member can earn a maximum of 200 Qantas Points for submitting this survey. By submitting this survey, you consent to receiving a telephone call from Qantas Assure regarding life insurance. Qantas reserves the right to withdraw or extend this survey at any time.

If you received the email, go for it.
If you haven't received the email, still go for it, you've got nothing to lose, but 200 QFF points to gain.

  • Is it targeted? I didn't get them email but filled the form out and it worked for me.

So I'm reluctantly saying it's targeted, but it's a publicly accessible link so I'm not sure how they'll police this.

  • FYI I received this a few months ago and filled out the survey, I believe it was for 1000 points at that time. I did get a call and the girl on the phone made it sound like she had to confirm the bonus points. So it will be interesting to see if you still get them with a fake phone number.

Not sure if that's actually the case but she definitely said something along the lines of "I'll make sure you get the bonus points" while typing after she wasn't able to offer me a better deal on my health insurance.

  • Giving away your info for 200 points? Whores!

    • The good kind.

      • I'd consider it for maybe 2,000 points. But 200 points is not worth the hounding and your details appearing on marketing databases.

just put in fake mobile numbers to prevent spam calling

  • Typical marketing troll .. for $2 'reward' .. :-( .. !!

    • Not even $2… 2000 points at about 0.7c per point is $1.4

      • At least get your numbers right when you trying to prove a point.
Plus points are worth more than 0.7 cents. I value my points at 1.9c for the trips I take, at minimum they are worth around 1.1c pp.

  • Did it a couple of times and I have never received any bonus points!
