$5 Any Souvlaki @ Jimmy Grants Sydney City Westfield

110

Was at Sydney city westfield and saw newly opened Jimmy grants have entire sovas range regular size for $5 until 29/11 as an opening promo. Pretty good deal IMO considering they are priced at $12-$14 on menu. Better than 50% off

Anyone tried? Or should I avoid giving money to people who assault kids?

      19yrs isnt a kid

A very foul mouthed 19 yr old kid too…
George should've knocked his teeth out.

Obviously he was someone who is more than a little bit jealous of George's success.

Maybe if he spent more time working hard, and less time making vulgar comments about people's parents, he might do a bit better in his own life.

        • I hope you're joking. He's 19 and his life has just started…. Not in any position to judge him against George and his "successes".

George was also shitty at paying staff

        • @ippy:

George was also shitty at paying staff

This was about the incident at the soccer.

That 19 yo 'kid' was being foul mouthed about George's mum. Otherwise I'm pretty sure George would have just ignored him. It doesn't excuse what he did, but what they 'kid' did was much worse

        • @jv: slagging someones mum is really not a big deal. You and George need to grow up and learn to walk away.

Maybe not to you, but to George it was.

@jv: freedom of speech. 19 year old can say what he wants.

        • @veritas_mendax:

          freedom of speech.

This is Australia, not USA. We don't have freedom of speech.

        • @jv: then why are we trying to legislate for freedom of religion? What’s the difference

    • Anyone tried?

      They are pretty good.

      • I did. The portion size is quite decent and tastes great too

    • Not the best. I had the Mr Papadopoulos souva. It was overpriced and wasn't anything better than the Zeus St ones or other souvlaki shops springing up in Sydney. (edit. I have greek relos)

      • As a greek person, what do you think of zeus st? I've never tried but they look woefully small. I like gyradilko in Rosebery (Bexley is ok but smaller portions)

        • The place in Rosebery is good. The one in Mascot is also good, although they use a different regional flavour. I've not tried Zeus St because it is small. The one in just over Tom Ugly's Bridge is also good

        • @shortblack9: nice thanks for the tips. I live closeish to tom uglies, didn't know there was a place down there.

  • Time to try it.

  • Just tried it. For $5 it's okay. I can easily eat 2 though.

    • Agreed. Quite small if you're paying full price.
