Anyone know if that socket set is a proper hex (six sides) inside the socket, and not one of those stupid multi-grip ones with like, 12+ sides that just round bolts off?

  I bought the larger set for $75 and can confirm that they're 6 sided. The pic of the smaller set shows what they are like.

  Sockets with 12 sides arent generally multi fit. They just allow for more placements on the nut/bolt. And decent ones wont round heads. There are multifit kits like metrinch that one socket does a metric and its imperial counterpart, ie: 14mm and 9/16, 13mm and 1/2.

  Id say its the pick of them. Deep sockets and shallow, ranges from 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 drive. Plus spanners. Theres noit much in th way of useless tools and ties etc. There are maybe 15 or so hex type head bits. Ratchets are meh but work, I replaced the ratchets with Kincromes.
